I had my Ross Procedure surgery nearly seven months ago.
Today my husband and 9yo daughter joined me on a 4.2k walk to raise money for the Heart Foundation. We kept a good pace walking along Melbourne's Yarra River on a beautiful spring morning. Did the walk in just under 44min. Am thinking I'll aim to do another one this spring/summer - and will run at least some of it.
Good to be alive, eh?

Sounds like a walk that was indeed fun! Congrats! It's always fun to look forward to future walking/jogging events, too. We have a Heart Walk in October, and I am leading a team in an Alzheimer's Walk in November. Looking forward to hearing more from you about your fun walks.

Congratulations! :biggrin2: It only takes one event to want to do it again and again.

I agree, it is so good to be alive!

Nicely done! My middle son and I went on a 5K run/walk a few weeks ago and enjoyed it very much. Feels great, doesn't it?
