Finally in range.

i've been on 8 mg a day for the last 3 weeks and i am finally in range for the first time since i got out of the hospital. had my inr tested last monday and it was 2.78. so finally after the doctor having to double my dose everyday i have finally gotten in range thankfully. went to see my family in canada last week and on the way home my vehicle broke down and i was thinking what else is there going to be. thankfully it wasn't my inr being too high or low again as i was worried about it before i went to see them.

Congratulations. You will find that INR management is not a big deal.....at least for most of us.

yep she kept me on 8 mg a day and told me to check in two weeks. so we'll see what happens since i am back at work and more active than i have been since well before surgery.

Expect another adjustment upwards by 10% for the week.
