Finally a date!!!

Finally got a date for my surgery today. They have me scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2008 at Dayton Heart Hospital. Now I feel alot better in knowing that I do not have to wait another month or two to get it taken care of!

We have decided on the St. Jude for the aortic and a ring around the tricuspid. He said that the Mitral just does not leak enough to warrant the amount of work that would be needed to repair it, so he is going to leave it alone for now, unless something changes when he gets in there.

Thank you all for all your thoughts and support. I will try to remember to have my daughter or husband come on here to let you all know how surgery went. Once I am up and about and can type, I will get online again too!

I'm so glad you got an early date. You will not have to worry for so long.
I have to wait till July 31st and I can't move it forward so the waiting for me is going to become intolerable.
