Vegas is ahead. Can I make one suggestion?

If this location wins....can we stay on the strip. It is closer to the airport for those flying in. TY :D

I voted for Vegas -- but this poll seems biased against New Orleans, since one can vote just once it should be Las Vegas against New Orleans with the choice between the two cruise options for a separate poll, is this right?

Seems so Burair. Good observation. Maybe Hank will decide to make an adjustment. Not crazy about Vegas....but will go where I am directed

Having lived in Southern CA for 5 years, I have had my fill of Vegas so was really hoping for New Orleans (and a reunion closer to the East Coast since that is where I am :)). I was thinking a 2 night cruise would allow for a couple of days on land in NO also for those who could only come for a couple of days. However, I will not be a brat and truly try to make Vegas if that is where everyone else wants to go.
Smiles, :)

I'd love a cruise, but I can definately get my husband to Vegas! :D

Las Vegas Wins!

Las Vegas Wins!

Ok Folks - Due to the fact that LAs Vegas is the most affordable place for the greatest number of people, I have chosen Vegas as the location of the 2005 VR.com Reunion.

Oh, alright! ;) I've been mentally enjoying the cruise for a couple of weeks and to let you all know....you all were having a good time....even you Rossman! I've already made the adjustment though and am looking forward to Las Vegas in 2005.

I got so excited about the thought of a cruise I may go anyway.
Anybody else interested in a mini meeting of valve folks? Maybe in the late spring?
Hank - I am still planning on Vegas too - not trying to split things up.
Smiles, :)

Alpine slide??? Nah, that's a once in a lifetime thing... ;) ;) Er, at least for the one who chanced the "fast" side :D :D

Alpine Slide??

Alpine Slide??

No Alpine Slide, but I can tell you from experience that the two rides on the top of the Stratosphere Tower and the most exciting things I have ever been on. They are the ULTIMATE rush............

Sherry, did Janie and I tell you our check in story at AA leaving Denver? The agent asked us how we enjoyed our stay, what we did, etc. Blurted out the Alpine slide. He said whoa! Alot of folks get really injuired.

Hank, direct the fearless four towards your favorite attractions in Vegas. Anyone else that likes to fly in the fast lane too! :D Never thought I would again have the courage to partake in some of these "dangerous" activites. Life does go on after valve surgery.

Janie, maybe we should change out of our red hats and slip into something more comfortable. Like a hard hat  Hummmm. Never mind :D

Remember "What happens in Vegas..... stays in Vegas" :p

Vegas was not my first choice either but it not the place that makes the reunion it all thee GREAT people!!!!!!!! :D I know I won't have any problem getting Mike there. That is the one place I have probably been to the most. Other than Dr. offices :p :p

That's the problem...

That's the problem...

I guess I really don't want to know "what happens in Vegas". I think we're gonna sit this one out. See ya all in 2006 somewhere.

It's not my favorite place on this planet either. But as Sherrin says
"it's the company". As long as we are together...I don't think it matters where we are.

OK - so who are all the people that want to go to Vegas? I guess they are not as verbal as the "cruise people".
We can always take a gondola ride at the Venetian and pretend we are on a cruise. It just won't last as long but, when it's over, there are many more places to eat, drink and be merry in Vegas than on a cruise ship, so I am sure it will still be fun.
Smiles, :)

I voted for Vegas for 2 reasons - even though I would have really preferred a cruise.

1. I'll have a much easier time getting my husband to go to Vegas, and I would like him to join in.

2. Vegas would probably be less expensive for me. I'm hoping we'll be able to get some sort of package deal.

:p

Yikes, Gina. That's a little discomforting. I guess it's a good thing you all were in the slow lane ;) ;)

I'll be there come heck or high water. I just hope we aren't too distracted to enjoy each other's company. I hear Las Vegas is known for its distractions
:D :D
