Just thought I'd mention that I'm participating in a study that is trying find a genetic predisposition to cervical cancer. For those that don't know my whole story, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer at the same time I was diagnosed with MVP.
Anyway, since I have heard that MVP seems to run in families, and I personally know a few of the ladies here that have also had to deal with both cervical cancer and mitral valve repair/replacement, I thought it might be interesting to see if there are any more of us out there.
Kind of an unofficial survey I guess. Does anybody have any thoughts on this subject, I know that some of us have talked about this and other "coincidental" similarites...like the migraine thing for instance.
