:biggrin2:..Never had that done, but don't see why there would be any bleeding...unless there is something about "eye browwaxing" that I don't know about.

Have had to be stitched up a time or two.....without any bleeding issues:redface2:

Dick, just what are you waxing anyway? ;)
TopMommy, there shouldn't be any problem especially since the brow area is very small, it's not like you are
pulling strips off of Dick's back or anything like that. HA HA

I have my brows (and occasionally other bits...) waxed regularly and have never had any bleeding except a tiny bit from a couple of dots once when it was done by a very junior beautician. Stick with a good salon and you'll be fine :)

Have you tried eyebrow threading? There are salons popping up in malls and spas that do the threading. I have had it done twice now, $20, and prefer it over waxing.

I just had a large tattoo done which took over two hours to complete and didn't bleed too much with and INR of 2.3 the day I sat for it. I wouldn't think a waxing would be worse than that.

I am not on warafin but don't feel like ever putting myself in painful situations if unnecessary. I went to walgreens and bought a $10 eyebrow trimmer, it's like a tiny little electric razor and I may never wax or pluck again.

I have had mine waxed many times, with no problems at all. Only one time, a gal, whose experience I didn't question, gave me a bruise that turned ugly, black and blue! I didn't notice it at first, and as I walked around, my husband said, what's that on your eyelid? Sure enough, it was a bruise from the waxing. I don't know to this day what she did to create such a bruise during a eyebrow wax. But, I only go to one gal that I trust to do a great job, now.

Never heard of this before now. Looked it up - very interesting. How does it compare in discomfort to waxing or plucking?

I admit, the first time I had it done my eyes teared towards the end, like when you pluck one near sensitive nerves and it stimulates tears. They wrap the thread around a bunch at a time, sounds like ripping paper. It's faster than plucking actually and looks a lot better, they can thin out bushy brows too.

Waxing is quicker but I got a red rash above and below my brows that lasted for a bit, didn't see much a difference in discomfort over the threading.
