Explosion in NYC

there was an explosion and collapse in a 4 story building on madison ave in NYC, the first 2 floors had doctors offices,they don't believe it was terrorists, please keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers, it is on cnn and msnbc right now, lyn

I just heard on Fox News they think there's a parking garage under this building and there may have been people trapped there. Good time to pray.

Have been watching this all morning....it's on all the news channels in ny. They're thinking now it was a gas explosion. The first and second floors housed drs. offices, and the other floors had a duplex apt. There are 6 injured, one critical to date, but they're looking for others.

NYFD is the very very best!!! God bless and help them all.

I just read that it's a possible suicide attempt by the doctor who owns the building. Apparently he recently sent his soon to be ex-wife a suicide note. I know there's not a lot of garages in New York City, so the carbon monoxide method is more difficult, but whatever happened to the gun to the head? At least you don't put others at risk. If it turns out that he's responsible, I think that he was really just seeking his 15 minutes of fame.

i saw that story on the news this morning. I don't understand suicide and I especially don't understand people who commit suicide and kill other people at the same time.
