Hi All,
I seen my Electrophysiologist today to have my medtronic device interrogated and then reset.. For now he upped my dose of the Florinef - which is to stabilize my blood pressure and prevent me from pre-syncope and actual syncope episodes (passing out) He doesnt want to add any meds or up my Nadolol yet and next week I do see my ACH cardiologist for the exercise stress test. So may get some more answers from him after that test.
My EP gave me a copy of the report from my EP study, tilt test and monitor implant to take to the cardio and I found a few things on there that gave me a few answers or maybe more questions!
Anyways one of them is the statement:"Some of the symptoms had overlapped with neurally-mediated hypotension or reentrant tachycardia"
"Only single A-V nodal echos were noted. There is no other supraventricular tachycardia nor ventricular tachycardia"
I guess what I think is that this is all valve related but it is nice to put a name to the suspected problem..
Nothing else really unless anyone has any experience or knowledge of these problems?
Thanks,
Erica
