Endocarditis from bacterial / fungal skin infection

Hello,

I have BAV w moderate AR and has recently contracted a fungal ear infection.
I am down with cold like symptoms and fever ranging up to 38deg (100.4F)

I was wondering if any one has similar experience in terms of skin bacterial / fungal infection and the risk of Endocarditis.

I had a lung infection, reckon for at least 6 months, only symptom was night sweats, nothing showed up in blood tests or culture, went back to doc and finally a chest xray showed it up. 10 days antibiotics and gone.
certainly if you have a temp see the doc but don’t sweat it
