Elizabeth Taylor Treated For Heart Failure

Hollywood film legend Elizabeth Taylor is recovering in a Los Angeles hospital after being admitted for symptoms of congestive heart failure, her spokeswoman has said.

The 78-year-old actress is being kept in for monitoring and no more information has been released.
Publicist Sally Morrison said Taylor "was hospitalised earlier this week when she was taken to Cedars Sinai (medical centre) suffering from symptoms caused by congestive heart failure, an ongoing condition.
Taylor was married to Richard Burton twice
"This issue is being addressed. She is currently being kept in the hospital for monitoring."
The double Oscar-winning star's health has deteriorated in recent years.
In 1997, she underwent surgery to have a brain tumour removed and in 2006 she appeared on US television to deny rumors she had Alzheimer's disease.
The actress was famous for her friendship with Michael Jackson
She was hospitalised in Los Angeles in July 2008 and in 2009 underwent heart surgery to repair a "leaky valve," tweeting afterwards: "It's like having a brand new ticker... Thank you for your prayers and good wishes. I know they all helped. Love you, Elizabeth."
Taylor uses a wheelchair and has rarely appeared in public in recent years.
The British-born actress epitomised the Hollywood glamour of the 1950s and 1960s, as well as the film star lifestyle.
