Today marks the eighth anniversary of my AVR.
Tommorow is our 44th wedding anniversary.
Thanks to the miracles of modern medicine all these great things became possible. :D
To all of those still in the waiting room, I hope and pray you will be as fortunate as I have been.

Rich

Congratulations Rich; and on both accounts! It is amazing how quickly time zips by. I am at 4 plus years, (on both my wedding anniversary and heart valve. :) ) Your 8 years gives me hope for 4 more. Each year that passes I'll just stay in your shadow. Have fun tommorow Rich. 44 years is an amazing accomplishment. Your blessed.

Mark

Congratulations Rich!!

Congratulations Rich!!

It truly is amazing how time flies. I told someone the other day that my oldest son would be 24 in November....... I was stunned!! (How can that be true?!!) It seems like I should still be 24!! :D

I?ve been married 24 years and had a heart valve for 4.... I hope to catch up with you someday!! :D And learn to be as consistent with my INR.... lol

Best wishes!! Hey, I have an idea!! You could bring your wife to Golden to celebrate ...in October!! :D

I'm sure glad you were around when I had my MVR. I was so scared. Thanks again for reassuring me when I so desperately needed it.

Rain

Dear Rich,

Wow, what a milestone!

Rewinding to pre-surgical days....you were my inspiration! Thank you for all of your concern, help and dedication! Keep on ticking my friend.

Congratulations!

PS. Will we see you in Golden this fall? Hope so. :)

Hi Rich

CONGRATULATIONS are definitely in order. I sure hope you both do something special to celebrate. Wow!!! We're at 35 years married and 2 years with Tyce's AVR......I hope he has 44 more, too!!!

Evelyn

Congratulations Rich!!!!!! Enjoy and celebrate how far you've come, on both counts! :D

Congratulations on both, Rich. I'm just a year behind you on the valve anniversary but twenty-seven years behind you on the wedding anniversary. What amazing longevity and something for all of us married couples to strive for.
Take care and celebrate both :) :)

Thank you all,
Mark I hope you are around for a whole lot more than four years. :D

Gina and Rain any little thing I could help with back then was my pleasure. :D

Rain I'll tell you what old feels like, our grand daughter turns 22 next month!

Congratulations Rich,

As the dean of the valvers along Van Dyke you are an inspiration to all.

Tony :)

PS. May the Buckeyes merit your fidelity.

Congratulations on all accounts. My husband and I celebrated 43 wonderful years together on July 22 and we plan to have many, many more. We were high school sweethearts for three years before we got married so we've really been together 46 years. I can't remember when I wasn't married! We had our first daugther at 18, our second one at 19 and then our son when I was 29. We grew up with our children. We started building our first house at 20. Our oldest grandson just turned 22 in February.

I'm way behind you on the valve replacement. I just had mine done June 2nd. I pray I do as well as you have.

Thanks again to all,
Glenda congratulations to you also. :D

Cort, I'm not sure yet but a good friend here has been after me to go with him.
He has a absolutely beautiful '50 Merc lo-rider.
He wanted me to go on a power tour with him this past June.
It went from here to Texas and worked it's way back to Wisconsin and then home. Just a little too much for me.

Tony, good to hear from you.
Hopefully you, JimL, myself and any others interested can get together again.

Rain and Gina,
Let me assure both of you I would be absolutely thrilled to meet both of you face to face.
I'm glad I could help at that time and I won't ever forget either of you.
Unfortunately with everything going on around here it doesn't look good for this one.
Hopefully one of these times we will do it, I just have to stay on this side of the grass long enough. ;)

You should come....you should come...you should come

Rich, not sure if I mentioned it to you or not, but you should come with him! he he he. Sounds like a great Mercury ;).

And, that Power Tour came through Joliet IL about the same evening I was heading to Bowling Green KY for the MC Nats in June. The PT ended, as you noted, in WI...the same weekend of the MC Nats :).
