Ross, I'll post my profile info soon.
My name is Suqun and I'm in waiting room. I am not actually NEW here and I've been hanging around this place since 2002 the year I had my first symptom, I have aortic stenosis with mild regurgitation but my cardiologist said he doesn't worry about it. Now I had echo scan every year and the results doesn't seem to optimal--
Annual scan results;
2/02' valve area:1.7cm2, left atrium: 4.0cm, mild regurgitation
4/03' valve ares: 1.8cm2, Left atrium: 3.7cm, mild regurgitation
12/03' valve ares: 2.0cm2, Left atrium: 3.1cm, mild regurgitation
7/04' valve ares: 1.6cm2, Left atrium: 3.3cm, mild regurgitation
2/05' valve ares: 1.5.9cm2, Left atrium: 3.3cm, mild regurgitation
2/06' valve ares: 1.2.8cm2, Left atrium: ---, mild regurgitation
My cardiologist said I still have 10-20 more yrs to go before the replacement surgery so he still doesn't worry about it. But for me, since I have some kind of symptom(SOB) occasionally (noticed at the moment when the season or weather changes), so I doubt about this10-20 yrs thing. Anyone here had same symptom(weather related or influenced).
