Boy do I like getting good news once in a while!!!!

Just had my echo done monday before last. Finally got the results, 45% up from 18,then 30, then32, and now 45.

Whooopie!!

Thanks everyone I know it is not a big thing...but for me I have recieved bad news for so long . Someone has medical bills and can still play the market?

I did before bush got in ofice and it plumited. I lost 77k in 6 months.

Today I have nothing in the markets.

Great news..I do not know your age. If you want to keep it..I would love to know it..by private e-mail. My hubby is age 73..His is 35% but Cardiologist told him yesterday..his could come back up.no smoking. no alcohol..another echo in 4 months. He is not smoking but a sip before dinner.....How long has it taken to get yours back up??? Bonnie

Hey, Med - you must feel like a whole new person. Congratulations - this is such great news.

I know you've fought this stuff your whole life - you're one of the folks here who puts a lot of things in perspective. So this news is twice a terrific! Celebrate:D

Re: stock - didn't do as bad as you - but had a lot in a balanced fund. I've decided that when the Dow hits 11,000 again my money goes into retirement mode (read money market). At my age I can't afford another hit like that.

Gran I turn 40 next month. It took me 3 years. Still my card is expecting it to turn again someday in the next 6 years. But I am going to enjoys this as best as I can, because I have a second condition(not related to the heart) that can kill me if I don't stay on top of it.
