I go to my yearly visit with the cardio today. They have changed our insurance and we have a deductible and then we pay 10% of the echo. Anyone know about how much they are? I know it differs from place to place but I would like to have a ball park. I imagine he will order an echo. Thanks in advance.

In our area (Spokane, Washington) list is about $1200 reduced to about $650 insurance price. So with a 90/10 that would have been $65 my expense. My echo is tomorrow and my plan is 80/20 so I am looking at about $130.

My 80/20 was about $55 here in the Baltimore area. BUT if you have a deductible, say $1000, and the procedure costs $600, you pay the $600. That's how mine works anyway. If you have a health savings account, it comes out of that.
