Little uneasy I'm having my first echo since late February surgery. Last echo report landed me in Mass General. :( Fingers crossed.

I understand how anxious you must be. Two weeks after my surgery an echo and chest xray show a periocardial effusion and I immediately checked into the hospital for a second surgery to drain 60cc of fluid. Two week after that I had another echo and everything was fine. I ended up on my knees thanking God and hugging the nurses.

I'm still trying to figure out OK physical feelings and ones that are problematic. I guess that's how it's going to go for a while.

I pray for you that everything checks out OK.

Dan

THinking of you. Good luck! You're doing so well .......... that points to a good echo outcome. Barbara

Thank you, thank you.

Have to wait until I see my cardio next week to be sure, but the very experienced, great Tech and I are good buddies and the smile on his face was easy to 'read'. When he said bye to me when we were finished, he said, "Looks like it will be a while before I see you again". Seems to me that's a thumbs up!!! :) I won't relax until I hear it from my doctor but at least I will enjoy my weekend and not worry.

Well that sounds like a bit of comforting news. I know its always feels better when you hear it from your dr. But it does take some ease off the worrying.
Those Echo Techs are pretty good at their job. You can let us know what the dr said as soon as you hear... Good Luck,& prayers are with you...

Hi Judy,

Just saw your thread about your "upcoming" echo - sorry I'm too late to wish you luck. But I will wish you peace as you wait for your appointment with the doctor next week. I'm happy that all went well according to the echo tech but I know how important it is to hear it from the doctor and see it in print on your echo report. Don't forget to let us know.
Relax!
Take Care!

Susie
