I had my six monthly echo earlier this week and the pressure gradient across my bicuspid aortic valve is stable for the third echo in a row ! It was going up steadily, then accelerated, but has now been stable this past 18 months. I started taking vitamin K2 as MK-7 18 months ago, am now taking 150 mcg per day. I don't know if the stabilisation is due to the K2 but there are currently studies going on at two European universities into using K2 to reverse or stabilise coronary calcification and aortic valve calcification. My cardiologist is surprised. I'm just happy as he had indicated that referral to a surgeon would be fairly close on the horizon18 months ago !
