Well, I dropped off the Holter this morning at the cardio's office. I had it put on Friday afternoon and took it off Saturday. Luckily, I had plenty of stuff going on (skipped beats, shortness of breath, etc) for them to look at. The only thing I'm dealing with now are the burns from the gel on the electrodes. It' unbelievable what that stuff does to me. They said they should have the results in 2-3 days. Last night and this morning were not good. The irregular beats are keeping me awake. Not only can I feel them, but I also hear them with the clicking of my St. Jude valve. Oh well. Thanks for letting me vent a little. I'll let you know when I find out what's going on. LINDA

Vent away Linda. We are praying for you that the doctor finds out what is happening and can fix it.

Linda, I can really empathize with you. I had horrible arrhythmia prior to my mitral valve replacement. It really was uncomfortable and made it hard to live a normal life.

Let us know what they say about your Holter results.

my experience

i had some irregular beats and the fear was the most...fearful thing. my cardio told me everyone's heart beats somewhat irregularly, so not to worry. and indeed, it's been smooth sailing.

hopefully, it's nothing at all, so try not to worry. good luck!!!!!
