Hello everyone! I have not been on here hardly at all in a long time. I think I am getting old:D It seems that lately all I have time to do is work, eat,and sleep.

School is out. A week ago Thursday was the kids last day. That Friday we had a luncheon for some teachers who were retiring. This past Tuesday and Wednesday I had workshops for school. I spent the rest of the time finishing packing my classroom and labeling my stuff. Finally got all done !!!! This morning I dropped my dogs to the vet for boarding.

Now I have to pack. I am leaving to go to see my family in Massachusetts this coming Monday. I am taking the AMTRAK. A few people have asked, " What are you going to do on the train for 2 days?" My answer, " NOTHING !!!!"
Read, sleep, eat, then sleep, eat, and read some more.:)

My 90 years old mom has been sick in the hospital sice last weekend. She just went back to the nursing home a couple of days ago. It will be so nice to see her and the rest of my family too. I will be up there until June 25th.

I thought I would drop in before I leave and say hello.

I hope your mom is better, and I hope you enjoy your trip.

Looking forward to the October reunion in New Orleans!:)

Sounds like a great way to get to Mass. and a good way to unwind. Have a great trip and visit.

Happy to hear from you and that things are going well. Hope your mom is feeling better.

Eat some strange seafood while your there! Tell me all about it when you get back. Enjoy the ride. Last time I was on a train, I was a about 6 years old and it wasn't any amtrak train.

Praline I do hope you have a safe trouble free trip and a great time with your Mom and family.

Three of my friends and I took Amtrak to Atlanta. We had a nice trip then went on to Savannah.

Have a great time. Check in when you can

Hey there Sis! Nice to read your little report! I'm sorry about your mother. Another thing we share. Mine is doing better these days, and in the nursing home. The train sounds like a well deserved break! Have a great time! Your valve bro Brian
