Thank you ,Christiana!

Thank you ,Christiana!

What an interesting article!! I bookmarked it to read it again later.
I think there have been several studies that show that stress has a lot of negative effects on our health in genaral. This article goes in a lot more details on the effects.
Thank you again.

Thank you Christina

Thank you Christina

for posting this article. I E-mailed it to myself to read again more thoroughly also. I am more and more starting to see how my emotions affect my physical body and trying SO hard to adopt a more hopeful and less fearful attitude about my health.

I too have bookmarked this to read later..

I know for a fact that my heart feels my emotions and it doenst take much for it to beat a little faster or flutter a bit when I am anxious...eeven when I dont think I am stressing , my high BP is a big giveaway :(

EXAMPLE: I was headed to my dr one day, came to a street stop sign just outside his office - the car stopped on the other side facing me was my ex; we had to sit there eyeing each other for moments. When I got into the dr's office, I told him my bp would be way up so don't assume I am about to have a stroke, because I had just met up with the guy (he knows my ex very well so he understood). When he measured it, it was something over 200! Normally my bp was within good range. Emotions affect everything we own (inside).

The seven children in Jacksonville that recently were in a fatal accident. Their grandfather had a fatal heart attack when he heard the news.

I guess that's why our hearts are included when we speak of tenderness, love, romance. i.e. 'that touches my heart'.

I saw this interview on the Today show and the doctor expressed the opinion that you can "die from a broken heart". I agree, my father died seven months after we lost my sister at the young age of 49. He had a history of heart disease but had 10 years of healthy retirement in FL until he died at the young age of 71.

Interesting ... very interesting.

I think, in a way, I've always "known" that my heart senses when things aren't right.... Can't say that I can explain that ... and put it into words ... it just, well, ... is.
