Thanks everyone. Had pre-surgery yesterday, all is go. So I will be there at 6:30 AM and soon there after into surgery. I am feeling a bit anxious, but I know everything is going to go ok. Plan to mow the yard today and get a haircut just to kill some time lol
One nice thing they told me yesterday is that all rooms are private. So once out of ICU and on the main floor I will have my own room plus there is a bed or something that Gwen can sleep in is she wishes to stay the night. Which is nice option for her to have.
My goal is to be out of there by Wednesday and back home. That is my goal

All rooms in the Heart Institute at my hospital (Inova) were private also. That was a huge plus. Plenty of room for family members, plenty of room to maneuver when getting up to walk or shower. Sounds like you've got a good situation. Again, all best to you and Gwen.
