My 15yo wanted to see the new movie "Despicable Me" so DH and I took him Friday night. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! Along with a villain with the same kind of luck as Wile E. Coyote, there are some funny, touching, and true to life parent, pet-owner, and employee/boss moments. I want to take a carload of kids and go see it again!

You sold me! And I'm not really even much of a movie guy. But love Wyle E. Coyote and it sounds like it's got some of the same kind of adult humor that was in movies like Shrek, so I bet I'd like it.

Sounds good. Think I will "force" Colin to go with me this week. Funny, as they get older they are not quite as embarrassed to be seen with their parents. I was thinking of taking him to London in September when he feels better. I love London and he wants to see what the electronic rave scene is like there. He says that is where it began. When I asked him what kind of clothes I should bring for the clubs, he nearly fell over. "Mom, they are not really the places for you." He should only know what I was like back in the disco days. :)

Buy plenty of those $5 44oz drinks when you go; I made the promo cups for this movie. Daddy needs to pay for some surgery.
