Descending aortic aneurysm symptoms?

Hi All,

I was diagnosed with BAV and an ascending thoracic aortic aneurysm in 2008 when I was 19. They replaced the aneurysm with a graft, and said that the valve looked fine at the time but that I will probably need to have it replaced later in life.

Anyways, I've been doing well since the surgery 3 years ago, but this past week I have been experiencing lower back pain that has been pretty constant. I haven't strained myself and I'm not sure what the pain could be from. I've tried treating it with a heating pad, rest, icy hot, and hydrocodone, none of which help at all. I guess I'm just wondering if any of you with descending aortic aneurysm have experienced any symptoms before having repair?

Well, I've had lower back pain for awhile before and after surgery. I don't have much experience with a graft, I've only had mine for 3 months. I personally don't know of lower back pain being associated with ASCENDING aortic aneurysm, doesn't mean it can't but I personally don't think likely.
