Well a letter from the honorable Don McMorris secretary today
states even testing strips arenot covered under the drug plan nor will they be too soon and they go on to say the lab is there for testing and its free, really nice letter, but im just starting .........dont give up Freddie us canadians are just gonna kick ---LOL im getting frustrated but not quitting
with my insurance Greatwest and now the sask drug plan somethings gotta give here.....Look at the money they'd save GGGRRRRRRRRRR
Any feedback for my fight would be greatly used....Been dealing with this conflict bout into a month now and any feedback much appreciated for me,
Had my coagucheck xs bout a 3 months and i have to bus in my strips and stuff i need the costs are lot more when shipping etc on top of price of strips,
it just nobody wants responsibility for a good thing us coumadin takers need.
Ive also spoke to Roche and they are going to make a submission to the drug plan for concideration of coverage under the sask. formulary for these testing strips and im not sure what else i can do for now.....one day at a time!!!

I don't have any fast acting method for you. I just wish everyone were on the same page and stop making so damn difficult for us. Wonder if Diabetics went through this much horse crap before they got their stuff ok'd?

Zipper, that will be great if Roche can make a submission for the drug plan.
I used to have Great West Life, now we have SunLife and they cover the strips at 80%. The actual monitor will go on my income tax.
I really wish they would automatically classify INR monitors just like the diabetic monitors.
