Dawn-Marie's surgery has been postponed

Hey everyone! I called the hospital today to see how Dawn-Marie's surgery went only to find out that it had been postponed. Poor Dawn! She had to be taken to the hospital either Monday night or Tuesday night for an emergency situation. She will stay ion the hospital until her surgery (hopefully). Her new scheduled surgery is July 21. Please keep Dawn-Marie in your prayers! She needs her VR.com family more than ever!

I just called the hospital where Dawn-Marie is but the nurses told me that she was asleep & asked me if I wanted them to wake her. I told them NO, to let her sleep that I would call her again tomorrow.

I said so many prayers for Dawn-Marie last night because I knew her surgery was today & I have been checking VR all day for updates on her.

I want to thank Jane (Design Lady) for giving me Dawn-Marie's number & I am sorry to hear that her surgery has been postponed. This only makes things so much harder for her but there's always a reason behind everything.

I will give you an update when I talk to her tomorrow.

As a matter of fact, I called her yesterday morning & she was in better spirits & said that everything looked good for the surgery to take place on Monday the 21st. So unless something changes between now & then, she's scheduled for Monday, God Bless her!

My hope is that once she's over the surgery & is in re-hab, maybe we can send her get well cards to make her feel better.

Everytime I think of her going thru this alone, I get soooo sad & depressed because I just cannot imagine not having a family member around to give you a hug or a kiss & say that everything will be okay.

We'll just hold her in prayer........

Dawn Marie, sorry to hear your having to wait more. Sometimes its for the best, and your surgeon sounds like he knows what he's doing and wants the best for you. You will continue to be in my prayers and thoughts.
