Hi All,
I did make it to my daughter dance recital at Purdue. SHe is in a dance group called the Higher Ground they work hard all semester on dances they proform for non-profit. They choice a different charity each time. This time it was the Susan G. KOmen Breast Cancer Foundation. The dance co. mission is to unite students with a passion for dance and desire to help others. They allow students from all areas of the university to come together to express themselves through dance. Their dances included ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop,modern,and theatrical dance. It was a great show and theere were record number of people there. I am proud to say my daughter is a officer second yr. for this group.

What a wonderful event. Our only daughter is our youngest and waiting anxiously to see which colleges will be accepting her applications for admission. She will probably be playing volleyball, so our hope is to be able to see her out there on the college courts afew times (none of these schools are very close). Our two boys are already in college, and they perform amazingly in their academic fields, but nothing to make a special trip for.

How lovely that this group is so solid in its character and generous of its time. I completely understand how hard they work. Dancers are very dedicated. I'm sure she was thrilled to have you there. It will be a great memory for all of you. Thanks for sharing that!

And this past Hollween they came home and was going through and trying them on, we laughed so hard it so much fun remembering how old they were when they worn what ! :D
MY husband tried to get me to put them in a yard sale many times and I said, we'll have grandchildren someday! maybe!
