Dark blue veins palm of hands and left forearm

Hi,

I feel like i am always over-reacting so thought i would ask advice of others on here before worrying anymore ! The past few days my veins in my hands / fingers have gone extremely dark blue / purplish in colour (palm side) - no apparent reason and goes down without me doing anything, today i also noticed by left forearm (inner) had very prominent dark blue veins, again appeared and disappeared without me doing anything. the veins are not protuding just very dark in colour. I had avr in dec 007.
