Brought him to his cardiologist last week, first visit since returning back to NY. He didnt want me in the office with him, said he had all questions written out etc.
Dr. said he could drive and didn't need rehab, just continue walking. I was shocked at first as I didn't think he was ready to drive.
But just in a week he has improved alot, emotionally and physically. He said he did overdue a bit but has slowed down and taking his time.
I went and did his laundry, and a few household things. Just got some recipe booklets from the AHA.
His scar (after i got over the initial first time owww of seeing it) is healing nicely.
Am waiting for a letter following up with my emails and conversation with agency that handles nursing home/rehab abuse/neglect.
So all in all he is doing lots better than even one week ago.
