beautiful babies. Thanks, Mara, for sharing them with us. We so often get our run of the mill dogs and cats so this is a special treat. They look so tame and I bet they are!

Phil- No warfarin in our house.
These boys are littermates so they only "fight" to establish dominance. Fighting is a bit of boxing and rat wrestling, one gets the other in the "say uncle" position. It's actually kind of funny to watch.
Ann- They are very tame. Before I got them the girl I got them from said rats are like little dogs and they are. They have learned their names (Nip and Tuck), come when they are called and love to get petted. They are also learning to use a litter box. I think hamsters are really cute, but rats have a better personality, plus they don't stink as bad as the hamsters.
John- You are so funny. I like the beaureauc-rats! thing, I am just glad my rats aren't DemocRATS.

How you been?
We had a WONDERFUL time in Mexico! Right up until we got to the border and had to wait ELEVEN hours in line to get back in the states! Of course after a while we started worrying about running out of gas, so the boys started pushing the car, then everyone in the line started doing the same thing. It was hilarious. Finally the line went past a gas station, so we dumped out the remaining water in a gallon jug and carried gas to the car. We ate cold pinto bean sandwiches, with beans I had canned and taken with us on the trip with chips and cheese. It was actually all kinda fun in a stressful sort of way.... If that makes any sense. lol Sara finally fell asleep and in her sleep said, ?push the car Dad!? We all laughed and laughed about our poor little traumatized Sara.
NO!! I didn?t get a picture from anyone.... you guys are holding out on me!! Are our cowboys wearing their cowboy boots? We better hurry up on our calendar or we?re gonna lose Mr. January! lol

Don't know if they were wearing boots or not. I never got past their...........hats. Thought I had sent it to you. Maybe not, since I knew you were off to ol Mexico. Glad you had a good/enjoyable time.
