A real roller coaster ride here. Light snow one day, blue skies and warm weather the next. VERY mild winter so far (don't want to say it too loud for fear of jinxing it). I don't like snow or gray skies so I am pretty happy most of the time.

Still not too confident we will get through without another major snowstorm but I am hoping.

rain due here late today and lasting til noon tomorrow. Very cold - hard freeze tomorrow night, mayabe tonight, too. We have tulips, lilies, daffodils (in bloom) and a few other things that have been fooled into beginning the season. Not looking forward to the next couple of days. Our high todaY WILL Be about 59 - they say.

It's hardly been winter here - warmest January on record; had 2 weeks of winter in December. February's looking a little cooler, but not bad. We've been really lucky given the natural gas prices.
