Country fair camping weekend

Spent an enjoyable weekend camping at the Chipping Steam Fair in lovely Lancashire countryside.

Centred on steam engines, things get a little smoky at times

Many other old style vehicles are shown on site. Our Saab group had a stand

Four wheeled classics

Two wheeled classics

And multi wheeled tracked classics

German opposition a little puny though

A kitsch hearse made us laugh

A chilling north easterly blew in Saturday evening

A relaxing outdoor weekend lost in the past

Safe to say no planes? But trains and automobiles
This was when the gas was offordable and then even..........
Todays gas prices skyrocketing more so.
Great pictures,looks like the weather was beautiful too.
