Coumadin vs Jantoven

My insurance company won't pay for Coumadin. They will pay for Jantoven a generic .

$50/ month or $15 a month is the difference.

Insurance companies are way to funny. They won't pay for the brand name yet they just paid $2000 for an INR home machiine.

Anyway does anybody have any experience with Jantoven?

I think Hank takes Jantoven. My understanding is it is just another brand name for warfarin.
