Ten days ago a rash began to appear on m right forearm and has begun move to my left upper arm with a spot now on my right belt line, and a few more on my left forearm.
None of them have dissipated after nearly 11 days; they are cyclically itchy during the day with three or four waves extreme itch, usually waking me up now at 4:00 a.m. The itch gradually declining to no itch (unless rubbed or scratched) several times a day.
I've read some past cases of rash accompanying coumadin use but they began shortly after the first few doses.
This rash did not appear until nearly three weeks after first dose.
Does anyone else have any information about this or a possible referral source?
I can't call my cardiologist till monday, nor make an appointment before then to see a dermatologist.
Any info would be appreciated.
