Coumadin and Dental Work

Hello all and thanks for all your help with the questions I have asked up to this point.

One more, Do you find that your gums bleed any more when going to the dentist when you are taking coumadin? Any other Dental concerns (besides the obvious of an antibiotic) please share anything you can think of.

Yep - definitely bleed more. Confirms the need for antibiotics.

Don't ever let the dentist convince you to go off coumadin for ANY procedure.

I haven't noticed my gums bleeding. And I try to keep my INR at 3.5-4.0.
I've never had problems with my gums, before Coumadin or after.
