Seeing Cooker's new avatar made me think that a Halloween thread was in order. I will have pictures of my granddaughter dressed in her Halloween "best" later on today, but I thought others might have pictures they want to post or plans they want to share.
So Cooker, start us off with your Halloween costume . . . please!

My 120 lb dog is going to be dressed as a clown - more so that the children are less frightened of him as he runs to greet them at the door,   than for his own entertainment.

My 1 yr.-old granddaughter is going to be a lady bug. Alas - she is 9 hours away, so I'll have to wait until I get sent pics to post any of her.:( :( :(

I will be dressed as a 48 yr. old woman trying desperately not to eat the candy she's attempting to pass out to the children.;)

Heard at the office today is dressing up as a bathroom stall (big square box with a door and handle painted on) and a clown foot hanging out the bottom side and tapping. Get it? Senator Larry Craig... I've heard that's the camp costume for this year.

Me, I'll be the mom handing out candy to all the cuties (I love 'em, both, the candy and the cute kids!). My teenage boys are begging me to buy extra candy just for them.

Last year my teen put on his bathrobe over his clothes and went out as 'Hugh Heffner' - silly......

Peace,
Ruth

Today is my granddaughters 8th birthday. She is dressing up as a Candy Corn Witch. My 12 year old granddaughter says she is too old to trick or treat but she had me buy her a costume anyway. She picked out a prisoner costume. She says she is handing out candy with her best friend but I bet she ends up walking with her little sister. She is really only giving out candy because her best friend has diabetes and isn't trick or treating this year. We will go to their house so we can see all the cute costumes. We live in the country and never get any trick or treaters.

I would love to see some of these costumes . . . . occupant of the bathroom stall, , candy corn witch, white witch (you wouldn't take a black one? ), 120 lb dog dressed as what?, lady bug, etc. :)
I hope someone takes pictures to post!:p

Black Witches are evil. I'm tired of fighting evil. Now I want a White Witch that is easy to deal with.

Hot off the email- our grandson, Harry dressed as his favorite TeleTubbie. Our daughter said he didn't know quite what to make of it all, but was very happy when he got a bag of pretzels.

Here he is much happier at home riding his airplane before bed when his parents I'm sure will enjoy his bag of treats. I will post pictures of the grand daughters as soon as I get them.

Here are our grandaughters- Abbie as a rabbit and Bea as Nancy Drew.

And here's a picture of my 55 year old brother-in-law with his little goblins--quite an armful!

And here's our little ladybug trying to fly away from Mommy and Daddy. (My son and daughter-in-law)

Looking at these pictures, I think it's clear that VR members have the cutest grandchildren on the worldwide web!:)
