Greeting folks!! I hope everyone is having a great week and have managed to lose a pound or two ... I have been busy as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest and have been eating on the run and that equals fast food, junk food and late night eating ... That being said I have not entertained stepping on the scales ...

Got to get back on track ....

Sprint To 11-11-11 Starting Weight: 207.5
Last Week weight: 209
This Week: No Report Available:tongue2:

Superbob thinks he will follow the intrepid Chimp's lead and put off weighing til tomorrow. Awful lot of celebrating after last night's big Cardinals win!:D:D:D

GO REDBIRDS!

Must be hard to keep your balance on the scales--one legged chimp!:tongue2:

Advice: quit snacking and increase your kick'in!:wink2:

Good advice ... now if you could just come to SC and stand guard over the cupboard and the refrigerator:redface2:

SuperBob, I may need a full week before I will report and I may need a week before I'm ready to get on those pesky scales:eek2:

Go Cardinals!:smile2:
Speaking of baseball, last night we bought tickets for "Money Ball", and it was excellent. :thumbup:If you get a chance, go see it.
But I digress.:wink2:

Yesterday the scales looked as though I would be posting another gain. After some "tough love", they caved and today read that I stayed the same.:wink2:

I'm going to have to do something different in order to lose any substantial amount of weight before 11/11.

Something to ponder . . . :confused2:

Last week: 156
This week: 156

Weight loss for the race: 1 pound

What is with us this week? Nobody sounds too enthused in our weight loss journey. I was also reporting in that I was taking a pass today and will weigh tomorrow because I had a late night binge of milk and rice crackers (at least I dont' keep bad food in the house). But after a terrible drama at work today when an employee became violent and banging on his desk so loud we thought that a gunman had entered the building - I just feel like drinking margs and eating nachos.... OMG why or why do I have no willpower anymore?? In any case, said employee was fired and it's sad because I've never seen him like that before - tells you the stress we are facing at work.

So maybe I"ll report in tomorrow and maybe I won't. Big game day - Red River Shootout between Texas and OU. If we win (that'll be tough) I'll be celebrating and if we lose I'll be drowning my sorrows - either way not good. We've been having this rivalry since 1854 if you can believe that. Now that OU is leaving the Big 12 - not sure it'll ever happen again! The Big 12 - HA! more like 10 or less...... what a mess! You SEC folks can have them Aggies of Texas A&M and I hope you beat the crap out of them next year!!!

Hook 'em Horns. Beat OU!

Has the fire gone out of our love/hate relationship with dieting? ... I expect not, I think we just get tired of denying ourselves the foods we love and need to settle back into the old familiar ...

Good job Duffey:thumbup:
Superbob, Olive Garden rocks:biggrin2:

I gained 1.9 this week, weighing 185.7. That's up 1.3 for the race.

Cindy weighed 152.2. I'll have to look up her past weight to determine her gain/loss.

We are scrounging up our old Weight Watcher materials. The current program did not work well for either of us, so we're going to try the old way of counting points.

Not giving up though. Yes, I had ribs and posted a pic of them on FB. Rebellion in full bloom ... hehehe.

My sister called last week and asked me if I wanted to join WW online. I said no, been there, done that, but I will admit I had good luck with the old way of counting points.
Maybe I will reconsider.

I loved WW Online, but of course you can't calculate points the old way on the site. You just report it every week. We still have the old slide scale and will use it. It doesn't take long until counting points for most foods is automatic.

Well, dang it!

This is a mean thing to do, but there's a delicious recipe posted for salted peanut chews in the Recipe forum.:wink2:

Bad, bad, Mary......ignore those silly treats. We've got a lovely wild berry pie with a very very thin crust and barely a sprinkle
of sugar, just fruit. So yummy.... and probably 1/4 the calories of the peanut chew things.
Be strong !!

Hi Everyone! Just finished a 60km bike ride to church there and back-pooped. Finally weighed in this morning 197lb, a 9 lb drop from the race starting point of 206, a 1 lb loss since last week. I didn't think I had it in me to loose some more back when I was 212...It's funny how my shorts fall off if I don't tighten my belt now. They fit nicely back in July! Summer is almost over here, bright sunshine and 28deg C but it won't last long.My Fall wardrobe?? Very sad..I was 230 last year at this time. Should my 9lb loss for this sprint(so far) cause you all to throw in the towel and declare me the winner? Naw..still some time yet for you to catch up! Bob

Jet and I spent all weekend running agility. Little goofball gives me just enough cooperation and Qualifying scores to keep me coming back. Score for the weekend: 1 Q to finish her Open Standard Preferred title (midlevel, lower jump height), 2 so-so runs (with good start lines, our nemesis) and one busted start quickly followed by the "walk of shame" out of the ring. Yeah, I know, greek to you. We keep trying, but she's so durned excitable she tends to just spontaneously combust some days.

Friday I was up .7 but on Saturday I was down .5 from last week.....then I ate half a box of Thin Mint cookies so I refused to get on the scale this morning!

Throw in the towel!!! Never!!!! I need that towel to wipe the milkshake and ice cream from my fat little face:biggrin2:

Good going Bob!!! Keep it up:thumbup:

Half a box? Great restraint!!! I would have finished off and looked for the second box:redface2:
