Howdy losers!! ... I'm down 1.5 for the sprint ... I wanted it to be more by now but it is what it is ... DW is going back to work this week so I hope to start back with some morning walks ...

I hope everyone has had a good week and that this week will be even better ... I really need to lose a good bit before winter ... I tend to gain during the fall and winter months due to the holiday food and shorter days ... well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it:tongue2:

Race to Labor Day starting Weight: 209.5
This Week's Weight: 208.0
Race +/- : -1.5

Superbob's starting weight for Race to Labor Day: 121.109 kg

Superbob's current weight: 120.201 kg

Loss to date: 0.908 kg.

Now that things have settled down, SB is hitting the neighborhood pool midday for some aqua therapy in between dawg walks that are improving as the harsh summer (maybe, hopefully) starts to ease off.

Good job SB for your 2lb loss and with the Chimp right behind with a 1.5 loss I can see this will be an exciting sprint.

Good Luck to all

SuperBob lands a crushing blow to TheChimp passing him with a 2 pound loss:eek2: ... And this was discovered after TheChimp had a Philly Cheese-steak and onion rings for lunch ... I offer my congrats but be aware I have doubled my efforts ... Superhero vs Crazy Chimp ... this could get humorous:biggrin2:

Good job SB and CTC. I am not currently a threat to either you. I weigh exactly the same as last week, 182 lbs. So, I,m up 1 lb. for the race. Cindy will weigh tomorrow.

Hi Everyone

Things are quite hot in this forum with all the loses! Yesterday I had a bicycle ride to Hamilton, 69 km there and back, WHEW! Tired today. The insentive was a Tea Room for lunch and low and behold they had Peach Cobbler on the menu. After hearing the atributes of the delacay, well just had to try it. With Ice Cream. Delicious!

The weekly weigh in this morning- 210.5 lbs, a gain from last week.

Was it the Cobbler???

Oh well, feel really good still, been a good boy on the no smoking thing for 2 days, not enough to crow about that though. See you all next week!

Bob

We (Canada Bob, Wise, and me- myself-and I) intend to lull Them (Carolina Bob, Cooker, and Nelson) into a false sense of security. We're going to lay low at the back of the pack and then make our move mid to late August.:wink2:
Don't say you weren't warned!:biggrin2:

Last week: 157
This week: 157

Looks like the Yo-Yo Queen is trying to divide us into teams. I think the Carolina boys plus the guy from Beantown could whip all comers. If we stick to individual, however, Superbob is concentrating on out-losing The Chimp. :p;)

Yep - I think I can count myself among this group- just lulling everyone into a false sense of security! I cannot believe that I was that bad - but I am up 3 lbs from last week - no fair!!! I think it is fluid retention mostly, but I did get a bit carried away with some rice crackers one day... and then there were the almonds. Healthy foods, but not watching portion control. I did manage to walk the mall three times this week - but didn't go back to my Curves workout. Still having considerable pain - Cardio thinks it could just be a pulled muscle or something All sounded very good with my heart and didn't hear any fluid. They want to do a chest CT - just to check it out. That is why I went a little early in the first place - the motto on this forum. When in doubt - check it out.

Just heard from my fellow Texan who had surgery 2 weeks before me at the same hospital. His new equine valve is leaking badly around the valve - either stitching came loose or the tissue it was stitched to was inadequate - either way he is headed back for his second OHS in 6 months. Bless his heart - no pun intended. Sure reminds me that no matter how much you stew over making your choices - it is still a crap shoot and things can go wrong even if you do everything right. :mad2:

So - I had better get busy if I intend to win this sprint - cause I"m going the wrong direction. Good job SB and Cooker and to CanoeBob, I dont' think it was the cobbler after all that bike riding!! Keep up the no smoking! Two days is good!!!! Take it one day at a time.

Start of sprint: 207
This week: 210
+/- for sprint: +3 :eek2:

If TheChimp continues on the course of the last three days SuperBob will have no trouble crushing TheChimp:eek2:

Rhena ... I agree with SuperBob, this is a marathon ... I just wish I could reach the finish line and stay there ... You can do it!!!

I fell prey to cookout delicacies yesterday .... man were they good:biggrin2: .... I was up early and walked ... if I will just get out of bed when DW gets up I have time to walk and cool down before off to work I go ... Trying the Special K protein drinks to see if they help with smarter snack times ... I'm not on WW but I still gauge things by points and they are only 3 points ... any port in a storm:eek2:

Forgot to post Cindy's weight. It's 147.8, which is up some. Time to turn USS Minnow around. I have gained since Friday and more than I expected for what I ate. : (

I have often thought about Special K protein drinks but they do contain 25% vit k and soy ingredients, will this not throw off ones INR? or is it not enough to worry about?

I fully understand ... I need to hop on that boat with you!!!!

Not sure if it's anything to worry about, but since I don't worry much about what I eat I don't think I'll worry ... thanks for mentioning it though:smile2:

Back on Track today (Monday again) - lets see if that gives me something to crow about come Friday!

I'll be listening for your crowing!!!!
