Greetings ... I am the same as last week so my last week’s weight is this week’s weight and therefor my FDS starting weight:tongue2: .... I would have been down if not for a little slide with the peach shake, chocolate chunk cookie and DW’s pound cake ... I did not over indulge but it put a kink in my low carb plan ... I am back on track and hope to be down quite a bit by 8-20-12 if not take the sprint hands down ....:eek2:

I’m so pleased with the renewed Throwdown participation; you guys are great!! With DW’s retirement I have not been around much as we have been enjoying being able to spend more time together with day trips, planting and various other things we are able to find time for ...

The FDS has just a day or two over 5 weeks ... although short we can still show prestigious results if we stay on plan and support one another .... Happy losing!!!!

2012 Founder’s Day Sprint Starting Weight .... 211.0
Last Week .... 211.0
This Week .... 211.0
Race Stats: 0.0

Superbob's starting weight for the Founder's Day Sprint: 270.9

Superbob's weight this morning: 269

Loss for the FDS: 1.9 pounds

Of course, there is steel in these pounds. Will not bother with steel.flesh conversion equivalents. :tongue2:

Superbob is in this to win it.

Will weigh in tomorrow or Saturday morning. It will not be quite a week since my scales have been working again, so I am showing right now exactly the same as my start. I should be able to lose a little by the week's end.

Good going SB & Cooker. Losing 1.9 is great! Staying the same given the circumstances is great too!

I think my pound gain is due to the scales now weighing accurately, but whatever the reason, I'll claim it.
This week: 149.5
Gain: 1 pound
We leave for Wisconsin this afternoon and should be back in about 10 days. The Three Musketeers, The Three Amigos, The Three Loyal Throwdowners, however you care to be grouped,:wink2: better stay on the diet track. I'm right behind you, and I'm determined.

SuperBob... off to a quick lead ....:eek2:

Wise .... is a sleeper and will post with a loss for sure ...:smile2:

Duffey ... I think she is using a 10 day vacation as cover for a high end Beverly Hills spa and weight loss camp ... she will most likely show back up posting a prestigious loss ...:cool2:

Good to see early commitments .... Ok the rest of you Throwdowners get on board and lets keep it rolling “down” hill!!!!

I weighed again this morning. Mistake apparently. I am up 1/2 pound from yesterday with no explanation for it since I ate healthily and exercised twice. Oh well, it is what it is.

Starting Weight FDS: 183.2
This Week: 183.7
Gain: .5

Cindy hasn't mentioned weighing and I'm certainly smart enough not to push the issue. She is eating fairly well and exercising, so I guess that's what counts.

Spanish lessons are going well. I have one every day and practice lots besides. My head is going through a rebellious stage I think, but this too shall pass, just like my 1/2 pound gain.

Everyone has good/working scales in place which is great:thumbup: ... I hate it when the scales can’t decide what I weigh:rolleyes2: ....

We ended up at the beach again yesterday but this time I stayed true to my low carb plan!:smile2:

Time to turn up the heat on this thread.

Chimp, you are going to swing on that vine and fall in the creek far short of the FDS finish line.:tongue2:

The Kentucky Flash will be just a flash in the pan (a pan of home fries, no doubt).:tongue2:

The Yo-Yo Queen has already started the upward swing. :tongue2:

Superbob is going to win this sprint going away!:wink2:

Yay! The guantlet has been thrown down by the man of steel! Who we gonna call? One guess and it ain't ghostbusters...hehe. In case it isn't obvious, the answer is Krispy Kreme.

SB, Patsy Cline and I are wishing you Sweet Dreams about glazed donuts!

You are toast, Chimpy. Done. Might as well enjoy those banana pudding shakes. :tongue2:

Ironically I don’t care for the banana pudding shake but the peach is a chimp of a different color ... I have had my two for the year (one small / one large) ... I will not at this time give any hint of the new secret potion I have found but lets just say it can not be banned by any authority ....

Also, I am fervently searching for a Krispy Kreme Of the Week Club ... I will gladly sign up SuperBob with my own nickle and have “Hot Wow Now” delivered right to his front door:tongue2:

As a matter of fact, I had the grandkiddies all day Friday, and after taking them with me on a Superdawg walk and then taking them to the farmer's market to buy lots of veggies and fruit, including a humongous watermelon, we went through the drive-through of Krispy Kreme for a treat. Intent was to get one box of dozen but they were offering a second box for 75 cents in honor of their 75th anniversary. How could anyone turn that deal down? :wink2: And yes the "hot" light was on.:eek2: Then went through Zaxby's drive-through and the kids got "birthday cake shakes" (SB passed on that one) plus some protein. (For the record, the grandkiddies also love Chick-fil-a) Ah, but all was well in the end because we spent the afternoon in the pool and SB burned all those calories in trying to keep up with the kiddies because they both swim like little fish....for the record, SB had maybe, uh, 3 Krispy Kremes before turning them over to the whole family. So no special orders needed, Mr. Chimp.

I'm glad to see that they took my suggestion to have the fake 75th anniversary celebration so that you would be tempted to indulge in Krispy Kreme donuts!

Now on to further planning!

Ha, wishful thinking, Kentucky Flash. Superbob could have burned off all 24 of those Krispy Kremes by swimming after his grandkids all afternoon long. Nice try, though. :tongue2:

Well it was worth a try. Maybe I should just focus on my own food intake! If I do that I will everyone eating dust! ; )

¡Hola amigos!

Is everyone having a busy week. Me too.

Today Cindy and I are taking her mother for a belated birthday dinner at her favorite restaurant in Lexington, which is close to 90 miles away from here. So, I will be tired by day's end. The real point in mentioning this is that I may count my weight this morning as official for this week's weigh-in. I have predetermined to eat as healthily as possible, but if I fail in that measure I will report today's number on tomorrow's thread. Approval????

¡Tengan buen día!
