Greetings! I hope everyone is well and that you have had a great week!! I’m reporting a 5.5 loss for the week but I certainly can’t take all of the credit. I did get back on track last Thursday but I have also been fighting a stomach virus. I’m sure that this nasty little bug has a lot to do with my weight loss for this week but I’m still taking credit for it, after all, I’m the one that has had to “sit” with it for the last four days. :rolleyes2: Thankfully it has not been debilitating and I have been able to work.

I have asked SuperBob to take the thread next week while DW and I take a short vacation and he has graciously accepted. Have a great week and good losing!!!

Red White & Blue Starting weight .... 215.5
Last Week .... 218.0
This Week .... 212.5
Race Stats: -3

Sorry to hear about the tummy bug, Cooker. Have fun on your trip.

I'm leaving DH at home this weekend while Jet and I run over to Foat Wuth to run agility. They've just opened the new equestrian facility, too, so I may pop across the street to sneak a peek inside. It might be an even better location than Watt Arena for dog events, although I doubt the clubs would be able to afford it!
Maybe I can run off a pound or two, while I'm at it.

Have fun running agility, Laurie.:smile2:

Have fun on the trip, Cooker. I hope you're completely recovered from the virus before you take off.:smile2:

I'm down a half pound from last week. I think that makes it 2.5 for the race, but I'd have to look back to check for sure.

I hope everyone is having a good week. I think the good list/bad list is working for me.:smile2:

Last week: 149.5
This week: 149.0
Loss of a half pound

Good job Duffey! Have a good time Laurie & Cooker.

My good list: the weather
My bad list: me

That said, I'm shocked to be at the SAME weigh this week! Miracle!

Cindy is up .4 but that's not bad considering our week of food stupidity.

Food stupidity . . . a term dieters everywhere can embrace!:tongue2:

Hang in there, Wise. We've started a new week. The future looks bright!:smile2:

Superbob has had a super hectic week. Looked to be up 2 pounds this morning, but may try again in morning and hope for a better reading. Going to wiener Wednesday ($1 hot dogs at the ballpark) probably didn't help. :eek2::biggrin2:

I'm looking forward to vacation and I have resolved to eat right and exercise daily:thumbup: .....HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA:tongue2:

Have a great week and keep us in your prayers:smile2:

Okay, Superbob did not gain those two pounds reported yesterday. Or if he did, he's lost them this morning. :smile2:

back to even keel --- but waaaaaaaaay behind The Kentucky Flash in the RTTRW&B...:eek2:

Good list: Superbob got his exercise escorting DW to fabric shops.

Good list: SB found a neat little coffeehouse and had a good cuppa joe.'

Very bad list: The waitress talked SB into having with his black coffee a chocolate cannoli, which "we just baked and it's soooooooo delicious." How could SB say no to such a sweet young thing? (either the pastry or the Carolina-cutie waitress). :wink2: But oh mannnnn, it was the sweetest, sugariest thing SB has ever eaten -- definitely not his prescribed fare. Oh well, didn't buy any to go! And you only live once, right? :biggrin2:

Since when do "Wiener Wednesdays" involve hot dogs??.....Oh man. I've been misinformed. ;) I feel so silly now.

Pretty slow here -- is Superbob going to have to put all of you on the "bad" list and report you to The Chimp?

Good list: well a weird sort of good -- my 12-week prescription for acid reducer med ran out and doc wanted me to try doing without to see if reflux came back. Well, it has, and lots of foods don't taste good. Guess I'll beg the doc for more meds, but it is one way -- an unpleasant way -- to curb the appetite.:frown2:

Bad news: The peach cobbler DW made tonight tasted just fine. :eek2::biggrin2:

Superbob, DW needs to join our Throwdown.
Trying to resist a homemade peach cobbler is cruel and unusual punishment. We can probably explain it better to DW than you can . . . . or want. We'll let Bina razzle dazzle her with the nut and grain diet.:tongue2:
I didn't weight today. I was up a pound yesterday, but I think it's gone now. Must be magic . . . POOF!:biggrin2:

DW is not a candidate for the Throwdown. She despises everything low-fat, low-sugar, low-calorie. No baking with Splenda for her. She's an old-fashioned North Carolina cook: lots of fat into the pot of greens, lots of sugar into the cobbler. Actually, I'm sure she would take offense if anyone tried to lecture her about her cooking (which is of course quite good, in the traditional old school, Paula Deen, pre-diabetes revelation.)

SB just has to take responsibility for himself. I guess in theory SB could learn to cook for himself but you know what they say about old dogs learning new tricks. :tongue2: So Sb actually eats blueberries and pears and yes even yogurt and salmon, and oatmeal, and drinks 1% milk (DW of course has her own "whole milk"; it's a wonder she doesn't drink half and half; does cook with buttermilk).... so it goes.... Oh, and she has no blood sugar problem -- go figure. :smile2:

P.S.: and I don't want to sound like an inconsiderate slob -- I have been blessed with all the wonderful meals she has cooked for me for all these years. It's just now for health reasons, I need to modify and cut back -- but that is MY OWN responsibility!

My good list: good intentions

My bad list: not much follow through

I may be doing a little better this, but I may not be. Not worried for the long haul. Like the rest of us, I don't do as well when I'm swamped and I have been.

SB, you do pretty well for having a cooking queen in your house.

Hope the trippers are having a good time. Fiesta fiesta!
