Greetings! I’m shocked that my weight was down a pound this week but pleased. I have not been that good about diet but have continued to walk. So, how has your week gone? I think we all have ups and downs and push through them the best we can.

We need to get some of the past members of the Throwdown to join back in and as new members inquire about our little group we need to encourage them to stay with us for the fun, fellowship and hopefully weight loss. I know we all do what we can to encourage and I appreciate the spirt that this little thread has had from day one.

Have a great week!!!

Red White & Blue Starting weight .... 215.5
This Week .... 214.5

Good job, Cooker! Slow and steady will win the race!:smile2:

I am down 1.3 pounds from last week. I still haven't slid under the 150 mark, but I'm working like a dog, maybe superdawg (?), trying to make it.:tongue2:

Last week: 151.5
This week: 150.2

I'm at 137.5 today, down a pound from last Friday. I THINK I'm finally beginning to make some progress with my weight. I don't know what I've done differently, except perhaps not try so hard. Oh, and not going out to dinner in 3 weeks helps, I'm sure.

I'm still at 0 with a goal of minus-5. I may take a break until after some cardiologist and blood doctors' appointments in early May. Not really feeling great right now. Plenty of time to jump back in the race to the Fourth later. Good luck to those who persevere.

Hope you feel better soon. Keep us posted on your test results.

I'm back now. Just rejoined WW for men online. I like the changes I'm seeing there and I can track everything on my phone. Works for me.

Sorry I'm starting late, but my starting weight is 193.6. Yes, pitiful I know. At the rate I was going, I would be meeting Cooker and his way down the weight chart.

SB, I hope you're feeling better soon!

Hello to all. Have a great Saturday!

Glad you're back with the program, Wise.:smile2:

Hang in there SuperDude!

Wise ... glad you are back ... is Cindy joining you?

Yes she is! She says that she'll get up the nerve to weigh in the morning. We're happy to be back in control. She and I have to have a plan to follow; it doesn't really matter what plan it is really. The WW plan is familiar to us. I love the app though; makes me feel like a techie..hehe.

Okay, Cindy's starting weight is 151.3. Less than she thought it would be.

Cindy made a big pot of vegetable soup, so we're set for the day!

I tripped and fell into “The Big Nosh” festival at the Tree Of Life Jewish Temple Sunday after church ... the food was great and the activities were even better!! This is the fourth year we have gone and it’s one not to miss, and I won’t .... I’m working a very aggressive schedule this week so I most likely will not start the thread until Friday ...

Hope all are doing well and making downward progress!! ... Endeavor to persevere!!!

all this sounds fun

It is, except when it isn't!:biggrin2::wink2:

I'm watching Charlie and his new puppy, Coco, this week while his mom is out of town on business.

Charlie's doing great. Coco seems to think we've kidnapped him. He cried all the way to our house this morning.:confused2:

I hope to get to dance class tonight, but I have a bad feeling that when the time comes to leave, I'm going to say, "The heck with it." I hope I don't, but I bet that I will!:tongue2:

By the way, Chimpman has a birthday coming up. I bet he want to eat cake along with have a birthday bash. Chimps are like that.:biggrin2::biggrin2:

Hope the birthday boy pigged out!

As for SB, he has concluded that nurse's advice to take fish-oil supplements to raise HDL ("good") cholesterol was not right for SB -- it has had the effect of messing with my blood sugar, which makes me feel lousy. So I am dropping the fish oil (heck I eat enough fish anyway) -- and concluding that my life revolves around blood sugar, which better stay stable or else.:frown2:

How all this affects weight, I knoweth not, but will be brave and weigh in. :smile2:
