I was going to start the thread tomorrow but I thought I might as well get it over with ... As indicated by my Avatar I have raised the white flag of defeat, surrender, the big crap out or whatever you want to call it.....

I suck at diets:rolleyes2: ... someone pass the fig cake, banana pudding and milk shake ... tomorrow is another day and I will start to focus on the race to Alaska:rolleyes2: .... I will purchase a box of chocolates and ship it to the winner!!!!

It’s all good ....

2012 Race To St Paddy’s Day Start Weight: 226.5
Today’s Weight : ????????
Race Stats: ??????

noooooooooooo!!! Chimp down! Chimp down! Chimp down! :eek2: Do we have anyone who can stop Duffey now? Superbob has not made great progress this week. What about The Kentucky Flash? Is he positioning himself for a stretch run and a win at the wire? :tongue2:

LMAO :biggrin2: ... Superbob always has the right come back to tickle TheChimps funny bone:biggrin2::biggrin2:

I have managed to gain all my weight back plus some ... the scales revealed that I am 3.5 pounds over my start weight but I can account for all of it ... it is what it is ... the only consolation is that I enjoyed EVERY bite, gulp and slurp:biggrin2: .... Back at it:thumbup:

Mental freudian slip, or scheming avoidance, whatever, I forgot weigh prior to coffee and breakfast. My heart is not broken by that, but I don't know how much damage has been inflicted by recent stress eating and splurges. Tonight is Cindy's card night, at which I am score keeper and snack gopher (in the line of fire for sure). So neither of us will weigh tomorrow.

I think the reasonable thing is to concede in this race. I don't have to be on a scale to know there's no victory around this waist, nor Cindy's for that matter. We will join in at the start of the next stretch.

What's going on here? Chimp down, KentuckyFlash down :eek2: --- there now appears to be no hope other than the caped crusader himself of keeping the Yo-Yo Queen from winning this things.

Okay, then, Superbob has no change over the past week, but he is down 4.5 for the RTSPD, which looks to be ending next Friday. A week to go, and SB can step up the exercise, watch the food intake, and have a good report for the finale. Okay, Superdawg, grab your leash and let's step out!

It's not over till the fat lady sings . . .

It's not over till the fat lady sings . . .

Well, it appears this is going to be a real race to the finish.

I am up one pound for the week. I am confident it's MUSCLE weight, but it's muscle I'd prefer not to claim until after next week's weigh in.:tongue2:

Starting weight: 159
This week's weight: 154.5
Loss for the race: -4.5

Superbob, I understand you have a hankering for Sonic hotdogs and Kentucky Fried Chicken? Don't let the thought of losing to the Yo-Yo queen stop your fast food craving.:wink2:

so it comes down to two Redbird fans, who believe in the philosophy of their team, the 2011 Champs: NEVER GIVE UP! Should be interesting. Superbob has begun the home stretch with a brisk walk of SD, and will hit the community workout room this afternoon (swear it was warm enough yesterday, almost anyway, to jump in the outdoor pool). SB forswears all Sonic dogs, KFC chicken pot pies, and Big Macs for the coming week. He will not let his stress level rise due to Duffey trash talk. ; )

Got SCONES?

Got SCONES?

Good deal!:smile2:

If we both really stick to the plan for the coming week, then no matter who loses the most, we'll both come out ahead.

Let the Trash Talk begin!:tongue2:

I'm at 139.4 today. Up .4 for the race.

What race to Alaska??? The Iditerod? Or are we racing to the day I leave for my 2 week Alaska holiday this summer??? How nice of you to name a race just for little ol' ME.

I start each day with great hopes of staying away from bad food choices ... each day I fail ... my goal is to break even for the race and it's possible if I stay on track for the next few days .... that's a big IF .....:rolleyes2:

MY downfall is, after eating sensibly throughout the day, being hungry near bedtime and feeling I can't sleep without eating something. So I will forage, and, no, celery won't do. :eek2: I can hear Duffey chortling now, and the trash talk surely will follow. :tongue2:

No trash talk from Duffster!

I looked at the scales this morning, and so far, my weight looks good. I intend to be "good" until Friday's weigh-in; I just hope I can continue to stick with the program.

Superbob used to find cranberry-orange scones regularly in the Blue Ridge, but they are oh-so-scarce here in the tropics. Today, SB discovered why -- evidently they put the cranberry-orange fixin's in muffins down here. Had one at lunch that was fresh and sooooooo deelish. Go ahead, Duffey, celebrate your coming win; Superbob revels in cranberry-orangeness.

Sorry I went MIA for awhile. I have been busy on couple of home project and trying to get my daughter ready for college.

Looks like a close race. Keep it going.

Time for Throwdowners to stage an intervention?:eek2:

My St. Paddy's Day Race weight will be posted Friday. I've got an early morning appointment tomorrow, so I will wait an extra day. :smile2:

Go ahead, Duffey -- you can just coast in now! Enjoy that box of chocolates, and some ice cream, too. You will surely triumph on Friday. Nothing to fear from the Man of Mush. :rolleyes2:

Pizza and cheesecake, Mr. Chimp? :eek2: And Superbob thought he was bad when he got up at 3 a.m. the other day and caved in to an urge to eat some low-cal vienna sausages -- 70 cals, but yes of course garbage (but good-tasting garbage). :biggrin2:
