Spring is here!!! The wisteria, azaleas and daffodils are in bloom which make for a beautiful morning walk!! I have been walking just about every morning and it seems to be paying off. My diet is about the same with the exception of sweets and I am eating smaller portions, which seems to be paying off. i have never had a blood pressure problem but it was lower than every this last visit to the doc!!

I hope everyone has had a good week and managed to shed some unwanted weight!! I can’t say enough how much I appreciate each of you and the stick to it you have that has kept this crazy thread going!!! Good luck this week!!!

Last Week: 219.5
This Week: 216.5:thumbup:

:cool2::cool2:Well I am sure gonna need the luck. Walking, eating less, with hardly any fats, carbs or sweets. Seem to have hit a brick wall. No weight loss this last week, But I will not quit. I will somehow adapt and overcome, Failure is not an option!!! Hoorah!!!:thumbup::cool2:

139 this morning. Up 1 from last Friday. !@@$

My roses are blooming, water lilies, and clematis are starting. There's a bumper crop of bluebonnets this year, too.
The weather is going to be 80+ all weekend, so I'll get some more gardening done.

Jet's back to full jump height after her injury, finally. It's warm enough to let her swim - and the lakes finally have water again!!!!
So you know how I'm spending my weekend.

I'm late posting, but we went out of town yesterday and I didn't step on the scales until this morning.

Last week: 151.5
This week: 150.5

I am tantalizingly close to dropping under the the 150 mark. Maybe next week.:wink2:

Sounds like all the Throwdowners are doing well.

Superbob has had a hectic week taking care of grandkids while their mom and dad are on a sea cruise. This has involved taking them to and from school and preschool, and practices and games of, yes, 3 different soccer teams, one t-ball team, and one softball team. And oh yes, gymnastics. So this week has had a lot of Pop-Pop Pancakes, pizza delivered, fast-food drivethroughs (you ever tried to cook a meal after handling two kids' soccer practices on an 85-degree day?)....and today, yes, after a soccer game was rained out, a box of Krispy Kremes (come-on, we all deserved it -- we will try to save a few for mom and dad, who return tonight. :rolleyes2:

So SB has been busy but not exactly on a planned exercise/dietary plan. Will strive to get back on track next week. :D

All of you are doing so well! I am definitely hiding from the scale, but I can tell I need to turn things around again soon. I am very seriously considering shucking the sugar in my diet. I figure that even Splenda will bode better for my health. Sugar is said to be responsible for a lot of inflammation, which is problematic for so many conditions. What I know is that it makes me feel BAD.

Wise and Cindy can testify to this feat of enormous self control. We were in Gatlinburg this weekend and I returned home with none of the worlds finest blueberry pancakes under my belt. Now that’s commitment!!!

Wow! We're impressed! Self-control in the first degree!

This is a slow thread this week!:eek2:

At least my weight looks good even if the chit chat is a little on the scarce side.:wink2:

I am taking another belly dancing class, along with a Hot Latin Moves class, twice a week, one right after the other for a five hour weekly total. It seems to be helping with the weight loss. Now if I can leave the Easter candy alone . . . . :smile2:
