Greetings ... I have managed to drop 2.5 pounds this week but I don't have a clue how:confused2: ... I have been very busy and skipped a few meals ... overall I have not been eating as healthy as I should, you know how that is when you have to eat on the run with no time to be very selective ...

The Banana Pudding Milkshake hits next week and I have decided that I will not try it ... if it is as good as I imagine I'm toast if I do:eek2: ... the weather is getting better and I hope to resume some sort of cardio exercise soon ... I have not been walking and I know that I need to and I know it is crucial to good health ... I never have been one to "enjoy" working out ... don't know if this old Chimp can be taught new tricks:rolleyes2: ....

So, how did you do this week?

St Patty’s Day Race Starting weight : 215
Last week : 207.5
This week: 205
Total St Patty’s Day Race Loss: 10

A peek at the scales looked like bad news. -- okay it WAS bad news -- up 3 pounds from last week! :mad2: Superbob has been too careless with his eating. Will try to restore order by next week.

I'm on an upward trend alway SB. I'm hoping to erase a little more of my gain by Saturday. Yep, I'm giving myself an extra day, unless I receive a miracle in the morning!

Good job Cooker! Also, I can see why you've placed yourself on a banana pudding milkshake moratorium. We are all just like you, I'm afraid!

Not to worry SuperBob ... we all have weeks like this ... there is no doubt that you spring back with a single bound:thumbup:

Wise, you understand me too well :biggrin2:

A peek at the scales this morning shows a weight loss, but I will post an "official" weight tomorrow.

I had lunch with our daughter, her husband, and grandson Charlie. They're headed to St. Louis for an afternoon appointment with Charlie's pediatric orthopedic surgeon and wanted to catch a quick bite before they hit the road. I cringed when they suggested our local Pizza Inn, but I went along and had a salad. Not one bite of pizza touched these lips!:biggrin2:

The waitress said they're closing the business on Monday. Chick-fil-a has bought the property . . . will Chimpster make a visit for the Grand Opening????? :rolleyes2: Can you say, "Road trip?" Cooker?:biggrin2:

I have had a wonderful day catching up with a old friend who is in from Florida ... we have been out of touch for many years but bumped into each other at the restaurant a few months ago ... we met for lunch and then off to the golf course (riding of course:tongue2:) but it still kicked my out of shape butt ... I have stayed true to the diet through the day but I am craving chocolate but I WILL be strong....

Bob, I had nothing to do with the Banana Pudding Milkshake:rolleyes2: .... Mary, I am not a "certified grand opener" so I will not be there ... I have been asked if I wanted to certify in that area and I have not decided if that is something I want to do ....

I hate to hear about your Pizza Inn ... the last one here closed years ago and I have missed it ... there is one on the way to Asheville that we stop at if we are passing it around meal time ...

Had a good weigh in this morning, after kicking the scale around so it wouldn't give me error messages...133.8.

I Keep gaining and losing the same 1.5 lbs, but I'm not giving up.

We're looking forward to nice weather this weekend for the agility trial, gonna be a long 2 days for us, though....

Good going, Laurie.:smile2:
Cindy, I hope you're having a good week.:smile2:
Rhena, where are you?:smile2:

Considering my nickname is yo-yo queen, another week's loss is proof positive that the Girlies will prevail and win this race!:biggrin2:

Last week: 158
This week: 156.5
Loss: 1.5 pounds
Loss for the race: 4.5 lb.

I'm sorry to inform the group that we both gained weight this week. Good going to all of you!

Cindy gained 1.4, going from 148.4 go 149.8.

Wise gained 1.7, going from 178.9 to 180.6.

It is what it is. I'm like Cooker, I need to somehow get in a reasonable exercise routine. Like with some many things, it's all of nothing. There has to be an oreo center somewhere, and that is not a food suggestion (I don't even like them).

I over indulged in bad cookies last night. We ran errands yesterday afternoon. I decided to make one more stop. I went to Meijer to looks for gluten free stuff. I found a shortbread cookie mix. When I got back to the car, it wouldn't start. I didn't have tools with me (and wouldn't know what to do with them if I had). So, instead of buying a battery in Meijer, we called friends. The first three weren't home and the last one is still recovering from surgery last month. He and his wife came and jumped our car. We drove to Auto Zone. Cookies $3.99. Battery $99.99. The cookies weren't good, but they weren't cheap as it ended up. When will I learn to give up the sweets? Probably won't.

Your travails are slight compared to Superbob's, Wise. :( Great new family restaurant has opened on the beach. Serves breakfast and lunch "only," but you can eat all day there and take plenty home for dinner. Perfect fluffy pancakes stacked high. Best corned beef and rye I've ever had (and I had some great ones in DC). Seafood platter that was so fresh it must have just jumped out of the water and into the frying pan. Yes, it was deliciously fried, but not over fried.

Superbob will be doing good if he can just stay under 300 pounds! Superdawg is dragging SB on longer walks but an hour of walking works off -- what? -- 100 calories or so? That's just one oyster in a big ol' pot of them. :p
