Well, ho, ho, ho, Throwdowners -- Christmas Eve draws nigh, families gather, feasts are prepared, cookies and candies are everywhere -- who can think much about weigh-ins at such a time? Right now, I am looking at the biggest, fattest robins I have ever seen hopping around in my yard, gobbling the extra rations of sunflower seeds I have thrown out in the holiday spirit. Are those red-breasted guys fattening themselves up to make it through a hard winter, or what? (We actually have snow in the forecast for the day after Christmas -- yes, this is a beach in the South). :eek2: Well, we Throwdowners might have a bit of the same mentality but we know the wisdom of moderation and renewal that comes with the New Year. We will celebrate and enjoy but we will be mindful of getting back on track afterwards with sensible nutrition and exercise.
So be of good cheer, Throwdowners! :smile2:
As for Superbob, he appears to have found those two pounds he mysteriously lost last week. No surprise there. All his family will be gathering here today, and there will be an extra dawg to be walked, so that may help burn some extra calories. And 2011 will bring a new yellow lab into the family here (of course, Superdawg will continue to be the No. 1 dawg). So there will be an extra trainer of the canine ilk available. More exciting news about that later.
Okay to one and all, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hoping The Chimp gets his communication device back in good order and swings by to see us soon.
Extra bonus, Throwdowners: Here's how to make your "Superman shot" of holiday cheer. Enjoy! http://www.ehow.com/how_4996493_a-superman-shot.html
