Greetings Throwdowners!! ... No change for me this week but I’m glad of that because I have eaten nearly every meal out for a week due to my schedule ....:eek2:

How did your week go? ... I hope all are well and having a great week ... peace out:cool2:

2013 Starting Weight: 231
Last Weigh In : 226.00
Todays Weight: 226.00
YTD: -5

Hey, Mr. Chimp! A week with no change in the face of all that restaurant food? I'd call that a victory for you. Keep up the good work - when you regain control over what you eat, your progress will continue anew.

For me, the week is a minor victory.

2013 starting weight: 164.6
Last weigh in: 158.8
Today's weight: 158.6
YTD: -6.0

I count this week as a minor victory, considering that we've been having a lot of meals out, getting ready for our daughter's departure for the Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts. This weekend is their last weekend in Chicago, so I can't say what dining will be like. Some at home, some out. I'm just going with the crowd.

Steve and Cooker, a no gain week, when you've eaten most of your meals on the run, is great!
I stayed the same AGAIN this week. I suppose that's good, but I've got two weeks of vacation coming up, so I'm afraid it's not!
Last week: 146.5
This week: 146.5
Loss for the year: 5

See everyone after the 4th!

Company, Big Mama's birthday, company, eating out .. out...out! Perils of living at the beach. If I do as well as Cooker, I will be doing very well.

Can't morning-weigh nekkid til Saturday, when company leaves. Actually weigh at the doctor's tomorrow (dread, dread!)....

Anyway, I'll post something this weekend.

Happy trails.

Huge oyster and shrimp feast last night at the Carolina Roadhouse. Superbob will weigh, like maybe, Sunday. Unfortunately he has to get on doctor's scales this morning, and you all know about doctors' scales. :eek2:

Yup - My doc's scale seems to read about 5 pounds higher than mine. That is because I weigh in at home in shorts and a T-shirt, while at the doc's office I'm dressed in full street clothes with all the junk in pockets, cell phone, etc. I don't worry about the doc's scale, other than looking at the trend of his weights.

Today I will not admit weight. Official weigh-in for the week was posted yesterday, then yesterday evening we took our daughter and son-in-law out for sushi and an Asian feast. Just too much sodium in all that, so I'm up overnight. Won't stay that way, though.

Keep on keepin' on, everyone!

Yep, Steve, an add-on of five pounds seems standard for docs' offices. That was the case at my doc's this morning. But good news is, comparing just doc-to-doc weights, I am down close to 10 pounds from previous weigh-in at doc's place. And he was practically giddy-happy over my new knee and improved mobility and everything. I do have to get some bloodwork to see how blood sugar is doing -- hope that's good too. More later....keep on truckin' all Throwdowners!

My food has changed alot since getting home on June 17th. Admit weight was 273# and discharge weight was 263#. I have been home now for 6 days and the weight has slipped down to just 262. Had an AVR porcine valve done. 52 years old, at least until the 13th of this next month.
