No big report this week from TheChimp ... I seem to have my eating under control but I need to keep it that way ... I think I have decided to try low carbohydrate eating for now ... my downfall is sweets and pasta and breads and ice cream and Snickers bars .... oh excuse me, I got caught in a loop :tongue2:

How has your week been weight and other wise? ... Have you had a good week? ... peace:cool2:

2013 Starting Weight: 231
Last Weigh In : 224.00
Todays Weight: 226.00
YTD: -5

Superbob continues at 257. That's down 8 pounds for year, and within the preliminary target zone of "seeing the 250s" for the first time in decades. Pleased to be maintaining, post-knee replacement, despite Mother's Day and son's birthday feasting within past week. PT continues, and it is kick-ass. Hopefully before long, I will be back on regular walking trails and the beach (just in time for bikini season) :wink2:

Last weekend's wedding, Mother's Day celebration, and Dunkin Donut encounter put the hurt on my week's weight loss efforts, but hopefully I'll get it off by next weigh-in.:wink2:

2013 Starting Weight: 151.5
Last Weigh In: 145.0
Today's Weight: 146.5
YTD: -5.0

1.5 Gain is a victory with all the activity you have had!!! ... It will come off as fast it went on...

Yesterday I was up 1.2 for the week at 177.6, which I can't explain really. I behaved with the exception of a very small dessert, which I didn't even ask for (mother-in-law).

I walked 8.5 miles last week. Not much still, but better than nothing. I will report a full report next week. Will post Cindy's weight when she weighs.

Have had a good week otherwise. Glad to see everyone is doing well. Good job with your weight. Agree with Cooker Duffey, you did well not to gain more! Cooker, apparently you headed off a big gain; good job! SB, it sounds like you are on your way to a great recovery eventually. Those physical terrorists are cruel! AND you're still maintaining! Excellent!

Great work, everybody! It makes me feel good to see that everyone is making progress toward their goals, and seem to be having a good time while they're at it.

I don't have all of my data handy, but I'm doing OK year-to-date. I started the year at (I think) 164.6. This morning I weighed in at 160.8 -- within shooting distance of the year's goal to get into (and stay in) the 150's. Not too bad, considering that last weekend was my daughter's wedding and all the fancy eating that came with it.

I'm trying to ramp up my walking/biking mileage and will post a summary soon. The weather finally got nice enough to be outside at lunch or in the evenings, so that helps with my weight in two ways. . . first, I am more active and burn up more caloried; second, if I am out walking, I am not snacking. Win/win for me!

Great job Steve to be at your lowest following the hustle and bustle and stress of a wedding. You're on the verge of a new level.

The stress of the wedding is over, but the next BIG stressor is that Daddy's Girl will be moving out of town in a month or two. Daughter's hubby is transferring into a PhD program at UMass - Amherst. She already has a new job, and they will begin planning the big move as soon as they return from their honeymoon. Not that's going to be rough on old dad. . .

Only 8 replies this week (this is the 9th)....in the past, we've had replies in the 30s or 40s. I wonder: Is our beloved TD on the wane? Or is it the approach of summer vacation season and dog days? (Superdawg says every day is or should be a dog day). :tongue2:

It is great that Steve joined our ranks this year -- his posts are a boost to our merry little band. But others appear to have fallen by the wayside (perhaps one stocked with BBQ and fries) :biggrin2:

I'm not suggesting anything, just observing.....

(Okay, actually this is the 10th ... still......)
