The Chimp is taking a mulligan this week and keeping his number the same:cool2: ... I have been busy today (golf, meeting with the tree cutters, city hall for permits, cleaning off the roof.....) ... If I drank I would settle into a pitcher of banana daiquiris:rolleyes2: ... I truly did not think about weighing this morning and I have a EARLY start tomorrow so I will get the ball rolling this afternoon ....

So, how did you do? ...

2013 Starting Weight: 231
Last Weigh In : 227.00
Todays Weight: 224.00
YTD: -7

Yep, you must have heard the restless stirring of the Throwdowners, Cooker. I'm down a pound for the week.

2013 Starting Weight: 151.5
Last Weigh In: 146.0
Today's Weight: 145
YTD: -6.5

Superbob remains at 257.1, maintaining from last week and within his target zone for this year's loss. Happy to maintain for now. When I achieve the knee/walking goals, I will consider setting a new weight goal in the 240s.

Starting weight for 2013: 265

Current weight: 257.1

Loss: 7.9 pounds

Cooker, I can understand forgetting to weigh when you're crazy busy. Hope your Friday isn't as hectic!

SB, good job on maintaining in your new normal!

Here's our report for this week:

CINDY: (first of all I forgot to post her weight last week)

Starting: 157.8
Last Week: 155.9
This Week: 153.5
Loss for week: 2.4
Total Loss: 4.3

Adding a parenthesis about Cindy's weight, she had a period where she went up to 162, so she has battled back down almost 9 pounds to get where she is now! Yay!

WISE:

Starting Weight: 194.5
Last Week: 178.7
This Week: 176.4
Weekly Loss: 2.3
Total Loss YTD: 18.1

Eating no wheat is working for us. Of course, it's not a diet plan but our new normal. My digestive track thanks me from the bottom of it's intestines.

I walked 7.5 last week. I think that makes the total of my mileage (that's I've kept track of) 38.5. I'll double check that this week.

Great report Wise & Cindy -- way to go! Reminds me of Orb winning the Derby. More inspirational comebacks from the Bluegrass State!

Thanks friend! We're feeling Orby for sure. Although we didn't care for this horse's name, we intend to follow him into the winner's circle, but in a different way. Don't like hay as a reward.

I just can't seem to stay on track... it's a Chimp thang:rolleyes2: ... I'm trying to get back with it but I do expect to report a pretty big gain this week ... seems that our social group is also an eating club :eek2:

I'm not sure where I'm at right now. The scale says I'm fine, but I'm not going to publish it until I'm sure it is that way for the right reasons. I took most of a week off from most exercise, and probably didn't eat very wisely at that. But, it looks like I'm down a bit. Not sure if it is from eating less and missing meals, or if it is real weight loss. By the end of the week I should know.

All of the mayhem this past week was from our daughter's wedding and the related festivities, along with out-of-town guests and visitors, etc. Crazy. Glad it is over now.

I refuse to get on the scale after a weekend at Caddo Lake with 2 other couples and 5 total retrievers (who never got in the water b/c of alligators!). Coldcuts and chips are bad for my diet.
It doesn't seem to matter how hard I work, I'm not losing. I'll lose a pound or two, then I pop back up as soon as I look at food! Sigh.

Looks like we've got an early trend shaping up; the week-end played havoc with diet efforts. We also attended a wedding on Saturday. The reception was held in a venue that was located about 100 yards of a Dunkin Donut shop. We returned to Cape with a dozen donuts and 50 donut holes. That might help explain my current 2 pound gain.

Ooooooooooooh! Dunkin Donuts - I love their coffee. I stop at one every morning on my way to work.

I don't eat doughnuts very often any more, though. They seem to annoy my digestive system with all the fats used in their recipe and preparation.

It is finally getting warmer here in Chicago. I have been able to get out for walks at lunch or in the evening most days of late. Time will tell, but the extra mileage "has" to help my weight loss plan.

Starting each day anew .... a bit of downward creeping on the scales so I may be making some progress ... tree cutters in the morning so I may start the thread on Friday ... peace
