Greetings! South Carolina weather is great ...sunny and warm (hoping it will get hot) ...I just love summer!!! I might even head to the coast for the day ...

anyway I'm the same this report as last ... I did gain and had to re-lose a pound or two but at least I got it back off ... I am hoping to continue a downward trend this week ... health wise it's a must ... mentally I'm just tired of being the fat kid on the block ... :tongue2:

Baseball is gearing up full force and looking forward to getting to Atlanta for a few Brave's games this year ... South Carolina Gamecock stadium is jut minutes away and I love to go when I can and the weather is suited for shorts, tees and hotdogs:thumbup:

Hope all have had a good week and wishing a downhill slide in weeks to come!!!

2014 Starting weight: 231
This week: 226

Where is everyone? I thought I was the only one with official AWOL status.:biggrin2:
Ok, I'll talk weight. I'm still up 3.5 pounds from my first of the year starting weight. It was all gained over the last four weeks, so I guess it was stress eating. I'm not going to think about it too much; it's too stressful!:wink2:

Glad to hear from you Duffey. I am hoping all is well with your family. It seems like our throwdowners have had more than our fair share of family health issues, not related to our hearts. It does make it easy to "comfort "eat. And it just doesn't seem to matter, til It Does.

Anyway, I enjoy this group of good people.

Everybody have a good weekend. I just attended my granddaughters birthday today. 25 eight year olds, at a drama playhouse. Whew'

I only weigh officially once a month. But I will put my goal out there which is to be down by 10 pounds (from 147 when I went in Jan. to 137) on my cardiologist's scale when I go back for my followup echo in June. A pound a week will take good execution but is doable. And that would also make a full 40 lbs total lost and mostly kept off from my high point in Dec 2010. I backslid last week with stress eating, am working on healthier coping.

Seems I checked out before the end of the Kentucky game (sick:frown2:). I checked this morning and got the score. Go Big Blue!!! The crud has attacked and I'm fighting back but so far it is Crud 2, Cooker 0 .... oh the joys of phlegm:tongue2:

Weight wise don't know but I'm doing a pretty good job cutting back and making better choices:thumbup:

Thanks Cooker for the Big Blue support. It has been an incredible run and totally unexpected. I know that remember South Carolina's beating up on UK. March Madness is the right name for the thing!

Weight wise I'm hovering around a weight that is up by about 4 pounds from my lowest point this year. Stress eating? Yes, simply put. I'm at 176.8 this week. Still down almost 14 from when we restarted WW.

Now Cindy is blowing this thing out of the park, plus dealing with stress. I don't know how she has done it really. She weighs 142, lost 1.8 this week, and has lost a total of 19.4. Of course that isn't to say she won't have a moment of stress eating, but so far she's been amazingly disciplined. We all react differently to different stressors. I have always reacted by eating, good or bad stress. I'm looking for a turnaround this week with at least a maintenance.

Hang in there everyone. Don't be hard on yourself whether you're actively losing or not. It's the long haul that's important.

Eating Brazilian tonight -- that ought to count as instant Atkins diet, right? :tongue2:

Sorry 'bout the Wildcats, Kentucky Flash -- but they had quite a run. And I guess they get to start all over with a new crop of "student-athlete" freshmen next season, right? (Sorry, couldn't resist.) :tongue2:

Hanging in there about the same with weight. Getting a little tired of Weight Watchers -- tracking oatmeal every morning gets old -- but I haven't cancelled yet.

No problem with the Kentucky loss. Really. They really turned their season around and exceed any realistic expectations. While it may be true that we will have to reload with a new slate of freshman, I'll still be rooting for the Cats and SEC. One and dones only exist at Kentucky of course, in other places they're called things like "Andrew Wiggins" and similar such titles, hehe.
