What is it? Starve a fever, feed a cold? Well I have a humdinger case of the crud and I've been feeding that sucker and am pleased to only be up 1.5 this week. I'm not making excuses just stating fact. The pollen is not helping.

How are you? Not much thread activity last week but that's not a surprise with all out group has going on. New grands, grands needing surgery, health issues, basketball, baseball.... the list could go on and on ... life can be a struggle and I'm amazed at times that we continue this weekly effort.

Have a great week... keep the chin up and the scales moving down:thumbup:

2014 Starting weight: 231
This week: 227.5

I stepped on the scales this morning and there's been no change from last week. Sorry to hear you're still under the weather, Cooker. Hopefully you'll kick the crud and soon be better than ever.
ps Better than ever. Is that possible?:biggrin2::biggrin2:

Hope you feel better soon Cooker. 1.5 gain is not bad when you're feeling like crap!

Duffey, the same is always good! Hope your stress level is a little better these days.

I have had a couple moments of weakness this week, this month, this Spring, etc. I am sure I will be up this week, but I have not give up or lost hope.

SB, I hope you stick with it. Maybe you could try mixing things up a bit. You can get breakfast suggestions/recipes on the Weight Watcher's site. Of course you can get suggestions for other meals and snacks as well. I suspect that I have grown a little bored with what I am eating, in addition to some stress induced eating.

Thanks to everyone for their encouraging words and cheers for our Kentucky Wildcats. We aren't down because they lost in the finale. Looking forward to an overall, hopefully, stronger SEC next season. I have to say though, I think the "analysts" underrated the conference. Maybe not by much, but still. Fan talk, you know.

BREAKING: Chimps on the loose in Kansas City Zoo!

Shoot, they ain't got nothing on us here in South Carolina -- we've got a chimp on the loose who remains beyond control. :tongue2:

Food: Big Mama requires heaps of Southern-style vittles to regain her strength. So I brought back lots of BBQ ribs for dinner tonight.

Weight, did someone say something about weight? :confused2:

Maybe I will weigh in this weekend, amigos.

Chimps Gone Wild!!! I was pleased that they used a branch as a escape tool but if they want to impress TheChimp hop behind the wheel and head to Coconut Joe's in IOP!!!

SC weather is picture perfect on this Palm Sunday!! After church we headed to the farmer's market, bought some plants and put them out ... I counting that as exercise :biggrin2:

Hello all. We held our own last week. I still need to turn the ship around and head in generally downward direction weight wise. Cindy is busy being the poster child of weight loss right now. I think we all hit plateaus physically, but also plateaus mentally. I am in a mental plateau, but improving. I think the thing to do, for our health especially, is to not give up. It doesn't matter what you're doing, WW or whatever, your own thing, just keep working toward improvement. That's my goal.

It's going to go down to 35 degrees in Mobile tonight. Isn't this supposed to be spring? It was 81 degrees two days ago. Poor azaleas.

Hello to all throw downers. I hope everyone's week is going the way they want it to.

I ate horribly last week - so much for my big talk about handling stress better - and now feel faintly ill. Starting over today with no sugar, grains or processed junk for 10 days, that's worked for me before. Once I start eating that stuff it just gets its hooks into me, I think the food companies put crack in it. Hopefully I can still hold steady on weight or have a small loss by the time I weigh at WW at the end of the month.

I should try the 10 day hold. Maybe I can talk myself into setting a day to start. Maybe.:wink2:
