Christmas is a week away!!! No tree is up, no decorations in place. Where did the time go!!! It has been a crazy past few days/weeks. Our Throwdown family has had and continues to have a lot going on. That said, I think it's amazing that we have continued to be as active with this little thread as we have.

I'm down three pounds since last report. I'm cutting back when I can but have no plans to skip the seasonal delicacies! After all, TisThe Season!!!

Continued prayers for Superbob's DW, Duffey and Susan....

Have a great week and a Merry Christmas!!!

RTNYD15 Starting Weight: 231
Last Weigh-in : 240
Today's Weight: 237

I don't even know (want to know) what I weigh but I am back on the healthy eating wagon the past 3 days, and I ran yesterday. For me it is the Race to the Cardiology Appointment on Jan 15. It'd be nice to go in feeling good about my habits. I'm SURE my echo will be great if I just avoid donuts . . . right? RIGHT?

:Scared:

Good news Cooker! Enjoy your treats - moderately, I am sure . . . : ) I have given myself a certain number of extra points or calories on vacation, and this works well for me to enjoy but not overdose myself on food.

Prayers for everyone and hope things are on the mend.

Hummm...I could never bring myself to be a regular here because my weight was always such a problem. Then a couple of years ago a friend told me how he took off weight. I tried it and it worked. Sharply reduce carbs. So I was able to drop 30 lbs that way from about 240 to 210, where I've been holding for over a year. Then last week I had an "incident" that landed me in the hospital for a week and I lost another 10 lbs. Basically that was because I was not allowed to eat anything. Well I'm out now and I can eat again, but I'm watching everything closely. We'll see how I do. Last time I weighed myself I was 199 just after discharge. from the hospital. I'd like to stay trim since I have to have AVR in January. I want to be at a fighting weight. Well Tom...I'm still here after these may years.

You have almost a month before your appointment. You can do it!!!

Hey!!!! Where have all the Throwdowners gone? I know weight is not a top priority for any of us this time of year and our resident superhero is flying back and forth between home and rehab watching over DW .... I guess I'm just missing you guys/gals .....
