With the baseball playoffs cranking up (Go Redbirds!), Superbob is pinch-hitting for The Chimp this week. We very much hope that our leader feels much better soon, and is back in the batter's box here swinging for the fences -- swinging being a Chimp thing. :biggrin2:

Okay Superbob is going to report this morning because when stepping on the scales, he was astonished to find himself down 1.2 pounds in the past week. Not sure how -- been on computer too much, eating I guess somewhat reasonably but not spectacularly so...must be doing something right without knowing it.

Okay:

Scoreboard:

Down 1.2 for the week

Down 3.9 for the Marathon Race to Thanksgiving

Best to all Throwdowners, and get well soon, Cooker. Play ball!

Good going, Superbob. I'm with you; sure hope the Cardinals can win tomorrow's game.:smile2:

Here's my scoreboard for the week:

Down 1 pound for the week

Down .5 for the Marathon Race to Thanksgiving

Work at recuperating, Cooker. Good luck to Wise, Cindy, Laurie, Eva and anyone else who might drop by!:smile2:

Quiet here. Is it because things are so frenetic elsewhere? Superbob and Mrs. Superbob were going to do the Walk to End Alzheimers tomorrow morning (a fun event), but now SB is charged with getting one grandkid to an early morning soccer game (and maybe even helping coach his team) while the daddy is taking the other kid to a big out-of-town soccer tournament that lasts all weekend. Oh well, SB and DW will turn in their Alz donations this afternoon, pick up their t-shirts and maybe do an advance walk of the course on their own. Grandkids' activities take priority. Maybe the old folks will sip a beverage at Margaritaville afterwards. However, the following weekend, SB must make it to the Heart Association's Heart Walk regardless of kiddie soccer 'cause he has volunteer responsibiities. Maybe this family needs a soccer nanny.:rolleyes2:

Will all this scurrying around help the weight loss cause? Hmmmm. A big maybe. How many calories are in a margarita? Actually, SB may just let Mrs SB sip one 'cause the hard stuff messes with his meds. Maybe he'll go with a Coors Lite. Hope they have the Redbirds/Braves game on the tube.

News flash: SB has maintained his reported weight of yesterday. Good news where he can find it. :smile2:

Okay, did this posting cause wanted to keep things moving, and am thinking of The Chimp. Sincerely hope he is starting to feel better! HUGE football game coming to his turf tomorrow -- Gamecocks versus Dawgs, probably top game in the nation. I bet if the 'Cocks win, the Chimp's spirits will be lifted...

SB, you're very active lifestyle will certainly yield good numbers, surely, hopefully! Margaritas sound good except for the tequila.

I too hope that chimpie is chipper soon.

As for our weight, I don't know what to think of our scale. I weighed twice before I ate this morning. There was a difference of 3.3 pounds between the two numbers. So, I'll go with the higher one of 187.6, which is up .3 from last week and down .9 for the race. Still I'm not sure because I feel that I lost some. Oh well.

Cindy only weighed once and she isn't talking about it, so I guess I won't either. ; /

My scale is finally moving downward! Maybe the cruise weight is finally going away! I don't really know what I'm doing right, because I am super stressed, super crabby, and barely have time to exercise.
The scale is reading somewhere averaging 140.5 all week, up an ounce or two, down an ounce or two. Except this morning, for some reason, I'm puffy like I ate salt or sommat. That will pass soon, I hope (self: drink some green tea).
My goal for next week is to see 139, however fleetingly.
Goal for thanksgiving is 135. Maybe wishful thinking.

Anyway, back to my HUGE Rockpile at the office.

Sounds like the reporting Throwdowners are doing pretty well.

Prayers going out for Cooker. Thinking about you, guy; sending best vibes I can muster.

For you, I am saying, GO GAMECOCKS in tomorrow's big game!

For me, I am saying YAY REDBIRDS! -- keep that magic going for another World Series championship!

Congrats to the Cardinals!!!!

Greetings and thanks for the well wishes ... it has been a tough time and a very slow move back to my OLD self ... under the care of a chiropractor and hoping to be back 100% soon ... I am better but as said it’s very slow ... I will weigh in the morning and post ... I know I’m up because my belly keeps getting in the way of my key strokes :rolleyes2:

Good to see you back, Cooker. I'm thinking the first half Gamecock butt-kicking of the Dawgs was excellent therapy for you. : )

I’m up and not surprised ... been a bad Chimp ... trying to get back on track but it’s hard when I keep eating comfort food ...

The Gamecocks are indeed looking good this year but there is still a lot of football left...

Thanksgiving Day Marathon Starting Weight: 217
Last Week .... 219
This Week .... 224
Marathon Stats .... +7:rolleyes2:

When you're in pain, I think it's natural that you will turn to comfort food. You can get back on track once you're fully recovered, Cooker.

Cold weather moved in Friday. Rain yesterday kept me from walking, but I hope to get a few miles in today, maybe sandwiched around the 2pm Card/Nat's game.:smile2:

Hey gang ... the neck and back are much better; don't know about my weight:rolleyes2: ... The SC state Fair lands in town today and TheChimp is going tomorrow after he weighs in ... no rides but plenty of corn-dogs and cotton-candy ...

Sorry I have not been active here but with the back and teaching a new class of hopefuls it's all I can do to work, eat and sleep ... Up or down I will post tomorrow ...

Have a great day:thumbup:
